Yep everyday is a heavy day in Melbourne. Winning a flag next Saturday will be incredible but it would not be as incredible as it should be. We won’t get to experience the joy we so richly deserve the way every other club has. Covid has robbed so many people of so much. You can add this to the list of things.

I think we can officially say that the next 7 days are going to push us all over the edge. This time next week I will undoubtably be having a complete full blown breakdown regardless of the results.

Weird that Max is not doing set shots practice. Maybe they’ve given up on him.

Max doesn’t need set shot practice. He only kicks when on the run now.

He obviously no longer has any pain in the hamstring and it was just a back related issue, hence no scans. I really back our fitness and medical staff, they’ve done a superb job all year.

It makes sense if they aren’t confident in May. But on the other hand Smith is coming off a hammy too. Can’t see it happening. You would play someone in the sub role who can play mid if we needed. I still think Hunt is the best sub option.

I don’t think him not playing in the match simulation is a worry. You wouldn’t risk him at all. It’s not like he needs the practice anyway. He can defend pretty well.
