Amen. I know it’s very hard to wrap your head around but we aren’t in development mode we are in premiership wining mode. That means you play best available every week, regardless of age. We are done giving players games for the sake of development. Bowey came in and dominated his role hence he stayed in. We picked best available all year and won a flag. Next year will be no different. We don’t need to gift games to anyone. We are god damn premiers!

Name a year it’s come back to bite us so far… We have a very young list and are eyeing off a top 4 finish for the next few seasons. We won’t be giving up a top 10 pick. It’s not a big risk.

Let’s just trust our footy club. They do seem to know what they’re doing. Also better a bird in the hand…

He really loves the club and is very close with a lot of the players. He may choose to back himself in. He is probably next cab off the rank if Spargo or Pickett get injured. Hope he stays as we don’t have great small forwards depth.

A no brainer having lost two big bodied experienced mids. You need to have ready made replacements for the inevitable injuries. And I don’t think Harmes, Sparrow or JJ are locks in our midfield anyway. The latter will likely suffer form drop at some point given their age and lack of experience.

My number plates have been posted. Should arrive for round 1 2022 the way Australia Post is going.

My Essendon friend (yes I know, who befriends an Essendon supporter, but we’ve been friends since high school) reckons they’re right into him. I suggest if he wants game time he goes to Essendon. They aren’t far off in terms of consistently playing finals.

Maynard would be a great get. Perfect Hibbo replacement and allows us to move Rivers into the middle where I think he will eventually settle. Can’t see how we make it happen unless Pies are desperado for cap space or more picks to get Daicos.

I got the $99 DVD that is meant to have alternative commentary and all 4 finals and isn’t due until November. It better be better than the Kayo replay or I’ll be [censored].

Yep I was delighted to see him back training with a PT already! I hope the guys all come back in great shape. There are a few on the list who will be pushing hard after missing out this year. I am sure they are all very keen to go again.

That says a lot more about the poor culture of Norf than about her. She is not your typical WAG, and having met her a couple of times thru mutual friends, I can tell you categorically that she is lovely, generous and kind. She just doesn’t think that football is the be all and end all, and wanted better for Ben and her when they were going thru a very hard time personally. Norf were not interested in supporting one of their better players. Too hard basket for a basket case of a club. Did not seem too hard for us to accept them in. We are a family club. A lot of our players have kids and have made Ben feel welcomed and at ease with wanting a work life balance and accepted his family first attitude. That is why we are successful and Norf are wooden spooners. You cannot except players and their partners to be robots that fit into your box neatly. We embrace different personalities and our group is as close as any club out there. I am so happy for Ben and his family. He’s an excellent football and a lovely guy who just needed a better environment to rediscover his spark.

This time last week I was deceased.

BT, Brayshaw and Browne just ruin the entire thing. I really need the club to release a dvd with its own coverage where I don’t have to see or hear these baboons. Would pay many bags of dollars.

Oh I want to buy this one so much but really hate not buying through the club. If they can pre sale it, then surely so can the club.
