This team is full of AFL listed young players. The only player who wasn’t there today was Rosman and he’s concussed. I just don’t understand what you mean by carrying so many experienced fringe players. That’s not a Casey decision that’s a Melbourne decision. Of course Casey will play M Brown and Melksham if they’re available.

The players really love Weideman. Maybe they’re just happy for him. So nice to see all the senior guys there. I reckon the ones missing are all going to the Brownlow tonight (Trac, Clarry, Gus and May). Gawn doesn’t have to do his hair so he can squeeze in both.
