  1. I also want to add that I think as a club we’ve handled the situation extremely respectfully. We had every right to demand answers and put public pressure on Jackson. We invested heavily in him and have never done anything other than help his career. In fact he was getting ruck time ahead of the best ruckman in the game right up until the end of the season. I am proud of how we’ve handled the situation and I hope Jackson appreciates it and repays the favour by agreeing to go to whichever WA club can strike the best deal, without the threat of the PSD and without demanding he only go to Freo. Home is WA. Home is not the Fremantle Football Club. If he nominates Freo, it’ll prove to me that this move is about much more than simple home sickness.
  2. Just because I don’t wish Jackson well in his career, doesn’t mean I don’t wish him well in his personal life, or appreciate what he did for us while in red and blue. As a supporter I have every right to feel disappointed and pass judgement on what I feel is a poor career move, which I also feel is a soft decision in what is a short career (compared to most careers anyway). I will be delighted if he stayed, but I think the circus around his decision was a major distraction this year and I’m really disappointed that he wasn’t clear on his intention last year when we had Cerra wanting to come to us! Now we will likely get screwed over as Freo don’t have a great trade hand and they’ve signed most of their best players. Edit: please don’t compare Jackson to Lever. Adelaide was a dumpster fire post camp. Lever had a serious partner (now wife and mother of his children), and obviously had intentions to raise his kids near family. Jackson is leaving the reigning premiers, and is 20 without a partner or kids to consider. The two situations are completely different.
  3. All I can say is, I’m extremely disappointed in Jackson. We gave him the world, including a Rising Star, the best mentor in the game, oh yeah and a Flag! Some will say nobody can resist the money, but I believe he would be getting very well paid no matter where he goes. Some will say the pull of family is too strong, but ffs he’s a 4 hour flight away from mum and dad. He’s 20 and has a whole life living next to family ahead of him. Choosing to leave is a poor decision that reeks of no mental fortitude or gratitude for what he has received from our club. No support from me and I won’t wish him well.
  4. He is a gun. Imagine if he got to play alongside a dominant tall forward!
  5. No idea why we didn’t sub off Brown (he had a bad knee injury it would have been super easy to justify), throw Smith back and Petty forward at 3/4 time. It makes no difference in the end, as I rather lose to Brisbane than get demolished by Geelong.
  6. Hurts even more that we are the only side who finished top 4 and didn’t make prelim. Poor effort.
  7. How nice of this father to teach his daughter the value of showing your emotions. Enjoy therapy kid.
  8. I absolutely love him. He is so brave, so competitive, great composure under pressure, wonderful contested mark. He really has all the makings of an AA CHB or CHF.
  9. Why? Brisbane’s team is filled with brain dead morons. Their captain is a scumbag who doesn’t even have enough respect for his wife to keep his tiny manhood in his pants, let alone enough brains to respect his opponent.
  10. Will be interesting to see if Tmac and Melksham play in the grand final next week. Tmac could be the only player to go back to back this year.
  11. JVR is so cute. Spoke like a true first year player. Get him a girlfriend ASAP so he doesn’t contemplate doing a Jackson!
  12. I thought she sang the anthem really well. What the hell are we even talking about?
  13. A brilliant performance. The tackling and hardness at the ball a real stand out. Casey doing us proud after last night’s very disappointing effort.
  14. I expect JVR will play much less VFL next year and the prospect of Weideman is well, not the best. There is plenty of space to develop another tall both forward and in the ruck.
  15. Wakefield has been awesome. So exciting. Has a bit of Fritta about him. Mitch Brown is an amazing VFL player. I think we should delist him but Casey should sign him up. He looks like he can play 10 more years at this level.
  16. Baring injuries, if JVR isn’t playing round 1 seniors next year I’m burning the joint down.
  17. Kosi is contracted and has a serious girlfriend. Kane Cornes talks a lot of garbage.
  18. Can someone who watches more Casey than me tell me what is the story of Ellison? Ah JVR be still my beating heart.
  19. Bowey isn’t eligible is he?
  20. Casey is an impressive side. Of course the quality of the AFL listed players helps, but gee they have some wonderful VFL players and they play so well as a team. Deserve the flag. In hindsight we should have risked Tmac last night. He looks no less fit than Ben Brown.
  21. Some really unfortunate heads on the Brisbane team. I hope Brisbane pick Robinson to play in the prelim. He is pathetic.
  22. I think we need another really quick goal sneak. I think Kosi would be even better with Bedford doing the bulk of the defensive work. Kosi should be attacking 80% of the time. He is a genuine freak that should be given license to attack at all costs.
  23. FMD if Bowey isn’t 100% too good for VFL I give up. He is a gun.
  24. Me watching JVR
  25. Robinson. Lol.
