GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs West Coast
It’s so annoying how we let bad teams drag us down to their appalling level.

Girlfriend trumps brother and grandparents. He lives with her. They aren’t a casual relationship.

NON-MFC: Round 9, 2022
He will be their biggest loss when age finally catches up to him. I swear tho he’s aging backwards. I can’t stand him but you got to admire how well he’s played for well over a decade now.

St Kilda heard of this concept called defense?

NON-MFC: Round 9, 2022
But as you say you’ll support it as a second team and that’s half the problem. Everyone in Tassie already has a team. Would you drop Melbourne to barrack for the Tassie side? No you wouldn’t. Do you know many others who would? Eventually you’ll have kids barracking for them organically but it’ll take years and success to make it happen.

TEAMS: Rd 09 vs West Coast
I wouldn’t be shocked if we closely manage the on field minutes of our star players. Hence I wouldn’t care if we win by 6 goals, avoid injuries, and reduce the load on Clarry, Trac, Gawn, Lever and Langdon. Perfect opportunity to also try and tweak the things we haven’t been happy with.

I only want two things to happen this week... Saints and GWS win. (And us obviously).

TEAMS: Rd 09 vs West Coast
On paper West Coast still have some really good players. I know they are all mostly past it, but gees they shouldn’t be so bad.

What They Are Saying in Lathlain
I would be thrilled to smash West Coast and would feel not a shred of pity for them. North on the other hand..

What They Are Saying in Lathlain
Like when Carlton would have fireworks pre game and were winning 3 games a year.

Top 10 players from other clubs to help our list
Would love McKay or Max King (if Choco can solve his kicking issues) to replace TMac and eventually BBB. McLuggage on the opposite wing to Langdon would also be quite nice. Cripps would also probably get a game at Melbourne... sub probably

Day Grand Final 2022
I quite like the twilight start time. There is something very special about ceremonies being under lights, just look at ANZAC eve. No issues with it, as realistically it is still fine for kids, especially as the GF is during school holidays.

Club just emailed to say we broke 60,000 members! What a great achievement. GO DEES!

The only thing GWS need is some culture and a will to win. They have a good enough list, maybe lacking a couple of good solid defenders, but their issue is they stand for nothing and they don't play for one another. They are selfish individuals who have no drive to play for a jumper that literally means nothing to nobody. It will be a hard task to make them a consistently selfless outfit with a common goal to succeed while they continue to play in front of 3000 supporters in a state that could not give a stuff about AFL.

I reckon Clarkson will be at Essendon.

Day Grand Final 2022
My thoughts are that I would be thrilled to watch Melbourne win a premiership at 11:32am on a Tuesday.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
I still don't think Gus has any lure to WA beyond Andrew. His parents and long term partner are both here. I doubt Danielle Frawley, his partner, will want to move to WA either. I do however think that Gus is in the sweet spot of his career, he is playing wonderful footy, is extremely versatile and there would be many Victorian clubs happy to gain his services for a lot of money, and a lot more midfield time, if this is what he wants. So the decision comes down to what he wants out of the rest of his career, because midfield time and top dollar is probably not something he will get at Melbourne, and that is just the reality of being a top football club filled with midfield stars and a tight salary cap to juggle. I don't want to lose anyone, but of the 3 big guns who need to be re-signed, Oliver and Jackson take priority over Gus and I suspect the club feels the same way.

Definitely doesn’t sound like someone who isn’t thinking about other options.
