We are playing poorly but FMD this is a massive prime time game and this is the best 4 clowns the AFL could find to umpire? Embarrassing performance from them. Especially umpire #20. Really woeful and killed any momentum we had.

We won finals by a combined total of nearly 200 points. It was the perfect season.

The Sydney game was very good, but Sydney have proven to be very mediocre this season thus far. I am definitely not seeing a premiership side out there. Yet. Doesn’t mean that we don’t have what it takes to be one. It’s only April.

I agree with this. We aren’t the team we were in 2021 and I doubt we will ever repeat the perfect performance that was 2021. It’s nearly impossible. However unlike in 2021, the competition isn’t nearly as strong and is much more wide open. If we peak at the right time and have luck with injuries, we absolutely can win it.

Undoubtedly they beat the other possible alternatives in Pies, Cats, Bombers, Brisbane etc They’ve seen so little success, I would be really happy for their fans if they won it. I just despise Ross Lyon.

Also guys my husband is coming tonight for the first time this season. He’s only seen us lose live twice. Lock in a win.

Two years ago this was the game that made the competition stand up and see us as real premiership contenders. The rest was history. Let’s hope today is the start of a beautiful 2023 campaign that ends much the same way. We’ve been good at best and mediocre at worse over the last 5 weeks. Time to start taking things seriously.

It’s not about a dime a dozen midfielders. It’s about getting another Oliver or Trac. We don’t need quantity now we need top end quality. If we end up with a top 5 pick from Freo I believe we will go for a midfielder.

But you know that won’t happen Sparrow plays a defensive midfield role. The club rates him highly. Time to stop hoping he gets dropped.
