It doesn’t matter if they are members or hobos off the street. You can’t physically assault someone! There would be security cameras all over the ground and at exists and this needs to be escalated. What stops these people from coming back next week and hitting a kid? People like that need to be dealt with by police.

Season is hanging by a thread if he misses the next few weeks.

We had already subbed Bowey off, but I would lose my [censored] mind if we risked him in that last quarter and he’s injured that hamstring badly. Seems unlikely.

The top sides keep getting the job done which makes it even more upsetting that we lost.

He had 6 score involvements and 8 inside 50s. Do you want him to win the clearances then run inside 50 kicking it to himself and then kick the goal? I mean that would be impressive!

Agree with the first part. Turner is a third intercepting tall. Hence why he’s struggling to break into the side. Disagree re Tomlinson. I’d rather play Hibbo as a tall defender than play Tomlinson. He is terrible.

I swear Oliver could have 9000 touches and people will complain he didn’t have a good enough game. He is one of the all time greatest midfielders and he and Trac, as per usual, turned the game around for us in the third. But by all means let’s complain about him when about a dozen of his teammates barely touched the footy all night.

Fair enough. But given we drafted Woewodin who was not performing at anywhere near the level Kynan is, I would be shocked if we don’t draft him. I guess it’s good the club isn’t letting him rest on his laurels thinking he’s got a spot on the list sewn up.

Has had a really bad season to date. Not sure if the change of wing is the cause.

I haven’t barracked for Geelong since I was born and I won’t barrack for them until the day that I die. If they win by a point today and lose 22 players to injury I would rejoice as it will be a win win.

North are competing with Melbourne for the decade from hell. They cannot do anything right and cannot take a trick. My Swans supporting friend is at the game. Said s young North fan next to them is bawling their eyes out. It’s just so heartbreaking because you know what that feels like!

Pressure to perform? Because it’s pretty much guaranteed he’s getting drafted by us. So what’s the pressure about?

But Petty has been playing forward. Turner needs to come in as a third tall. The issue is that he isn’t that big. He got smashed by Casboult in one on ones. So he either comes in to play the Lever role, or he comes in to play on a more agile player. Petty as a defender is very physically strong and has the height to go with most key forwards. So he isn’t really a replacement for Petty down back.

Will 100% get a week for that. The AFL will say he chose to bump and needed to stand back and let his opponent have a free run at the football.

With that I can’t argue. The AFL is a pathetic organization and without Melbourne in the competition I wouldn’t watch a game or spend a dime of my money on it ever again. The umpiring is a consistent problem. It’s always bad. Sometimes it’s diabolical and sometimes it impacts the result. It definitely went our way early and then Port got it all going their way. Still, play better in the first half and we win. Umpires or not.
