  1. No point for the club to say anything. Just go out on the weekend and play the same way Collingwood does, then present the evidence so our players walk free.
  2. The reality is that winning flags is bloody hard. Winning multiple flags in a short period of time is even harder, it's why so few teams have done it. You need absolutely everything to go right to win a flag, and unfortunately after a great run in 2021, a lot has gone wrong since. I think @Chook rightly pointed out that as a fan base we are tired. We have been through more than most other supporters, and we are finally a competitive club, so for things to work so badly against us at every turn is a really bitter pill to swallow. It's also human nature. It's the hope that kills you! But as @Grapeviney so perfectly summed up, we are a resilient bunch. We have broken membership records every year for just about the last decade. Our attendance numbers are strong. We are passionate as they come. It doesn't mean that we don't hurt, that we don't feel angry when there are injustices happening to our club and players. I look at clubs like Geelong and Swans. They get the best armchair rides in the competition, and even they have only managed one flag in the last decade. To be here now, top 4 three years running, still in the hunt, and with a flag only 2 season ago, is a privileged position, but it's also one we fought harder to achieve than most. To say we struggle under the weight is simply not true. We've played plenty of big games and delivered. We've equally played big games and lost. Which club hasn't? Just look at Brisbane and Port. So many top 4 finishes, so little to show for it in the trophy cabinet. Likewise Geelong until last year. It's a tough competition.
  3. Nothing we as supporters say or do has any impact on how the players play. Sure, a big turnout and loud crowd support is influential and helps teams, especially with favourable umpiring, but nobody at the club gives a [censored] how [censored] off or otherwise our supporters are. They play for one another and they are very good at blocking the outside noise. I worry far more about how defeated they are when one of our players goes down with an injury. The care they have for one another is wonderful, but it’s also been detrimental to outcomes of games.
  4. I’m shocked 🙄
  5. He's contracted, we don't need a bidding war. We have every right to hold him to his contract if we don't get what we want.
  6. If Maynard apparently had no time to make a decision to lessen the hit on Gus, then likewise Gus had no time to move away from Maynard. This argument they kept going on about goes both ways, but not when you are hellbent on getting a Collingwood player off suspension.
  7. Eddie McGuire is the finest example of why the world is a steaming pile of [censored] headed for extinction. This man led an organisation with systemic racism, and is still allowed a platform from which to exist and express his unnecessary views. How utterly embarrassing.
  8. It's very hard fighting the AFL's agenda to get certain teams to win flags. We were the flavour of the year in 2021, the fairy tale story. But we are now yesterday's rubbish.
  9. Nothing surprises me abut this corrupt organisation. The victim blaming here is what makes me the most angry. If there is any justice in this world, the same thing happens in reverse and the tribunal finds the Collingwood player should have grown wings and flown away to protect themselves. Will go down like a cup of warm [censored] no doubt.
  10. He’s fallen asleep. Please don’t wake him.
  11. If you’re raging about the tribunal, wait for the one sided umpiring on Friday night to help Carlton make the Grand Final.
  12. They’re gonna go out of business pretty quickly with the amount of lawsuits and litigation coming their way from players.
  13. Jeremy Howe has done nothing but potted our club since the day he voluntarily walked out to play as a forward and win a flag. I was on here wishing him a speedy recovery when he injured his arm. And I’m on here now hoping it gets tested out on prelim day. The same way our players’ injuries get tested out by Pies players every time we play them. If you have a problem with that, you are free to sit in judgement and tell me I’m a bad human. I give less [censored] than the tribunal did tonight for the welfare of Angus Brayshaw; aka less than 0.
  14. Why is everyone so confident Collingwood don’t wobble their way out of finals in the prelim? GWS, if they beat Port, will have a lot to say about the Pies making a grand final.
  15. Well if nothing else at least Demonland has finally been united by their common enemies: The Collingwood football club and the purity police T-shirt’s will be available next week.
  16. If this was Jack Viney would he have got clear?
  17. For fear of being hit down by the purity police, it makes me so angry I would love to throw that glass of wine in the face of that smug racist [censored] canoe. Can’t wait to watch him and his nepotistic boys cry again when Collingwood lose the grand final.
  18. I’ve never seen a smother end in concussion. Have you? Nor have I ever seen a hanger result in one. Miller accidentally damaged an opponent’s kidney taking a mark. Never has the mark been outlawed. Nor were marks outlawed when Greene was penalized for his studs up action. It is not a slippery slope at all. Just like tackling isn’t outlawed. Only sling tackling that results in concussions are banned. Smothering doesn’t need to be done in flight at full speed and result in a sideways shoulder to the head. Plenty other ways to do it.
  19. Yeah because I’ve been on here wishing Collingwood players and their families permanent brain damage. You’re right. It’s exactly the same thing as venting frustration and wanting Collingwood players to hurt their arm or leg 🙄
  20. They have been wishing Gus and his entire family ill all week. Clearly you’ve missed it.
  21. Clearly you forgot about Steven May. I can name as many Pies players as you listed Melbourne players who wouldn’t go the man either. Or do you think Will Hoskin Elliot is a tough guy? 😂 Plenty of guys in our side who could hurt an opponent. But wouldn’t because they are focused on playing the ball not the man. Shame the same can’t be said for pieces of scum like Maynard, Cox and De Goey
  22. A classless bogan. Proves that money doesn’t buy you intelligence or integrity.
