Everything went right for us. Blocked Field goal before half time. Smith finally threw a pick. Our first TD was a 4th and Goal and 49ers defence had a off game. Stafford may be out next week for the lions too. We did lose to Indy last week who lost to the Jags so I'm not getting too carried away.

I watched the last half of the ravens Patriots game and the officiating was god awful. There was a whole stadium chanting bullsh!t after some really dodgy calls. Belichick may be a few thousand dollars lighter after he grabbed a ref. I can't believe how disrespectful the NFL is to it's fans by not getting a deal done.

Ha. I would never put a dollar on the Jets either. After their pre season with no TD's who would have thought they would put a massive score on in Round 1. I don't know why they picked up Tebow. Yeah some UFC fighters are really getting on my nerve and are making me switch off. If being a "New breed" fighter like Jones means cancelling fights and picking and choosing their opposition they are in trouble. Some fighters wonder why Leben,bonner and Griffin are so popular. The problem is we don't throw deep passes to Percy Harvin or anyone else. There were way too many screen passes today. It is too predictable all we do is make Peterson run and then throw screen passes and try to get 1st down after 1st down. That's all good if Peterson can get on a long run but he ran for 60 yards today. We played a safe defence and Luck just picked us off way too many times. Winfield is in his 14th year but looks cooked. Jared Allen has 0 sacks. Sigh.

The vikings were being touted along with your rams and I think it was the chargers to be the potential new L.A team. Luckily for Minnesota they just signed a new stadium deal. I think it was after the Cardinals won the World series a few Cardinal players and the GM went to a Rams game and the attendance at that game was huge just so they could see the Cardinals. I'm with you on this. Especially week 1 of the NFL. I want to see RG3 and luck play. I like watching Rogers play. So I can watch a whole lot of games. When it comes to AFL I don't care about a bulldogs rookie or how Fremantle will go. Come round 1 of the AFL next year I'll of course go and watch the dee's but I probably won't watch another game with any interest at all.

We had a chat and she is a mad Vikings fan and she said the general feeling is Brett Favre is hated in Minnesota. I thought they would have loved the bloke but they can't stand him. The cowboys are the most over rated team in the league. Because of their owner they get talked up every year. The Jets are always entertaining off the field. It's either one extreme or the other with them. That's why I respect the Giants so much. Teams like the Jets and Cowboys get all the attention and the giants just float along with an ok record then hit form at the right time. I must say Macca I really don't like the Packers. I respect them being from such a small market and what they achieve every year. I don't like them cause they are always better then my Vikes. We could never get past you blokes in the NFC Divisional games.

I can't believe some were saying the packers were done and the NFC was to be competed by the 49ers and Bears. Talk about Jumping to a quick conclusion. Question is Macca can your cheese heads keep up that defence every week? If they can you are on a good thing.
