teloar has a lot of time left on a big money contract, thanks to the filth's largess

and no thank you to him at the dees

ordinary kick and zero defensive awareness

Would have thought the contract from the Pies nearly done. And I reckon he"s a reasonable kick and a great goal sneak

CHOOKS! Pet chooks are the solution to the world’s ills. Everyone needs a pet chook or 10. It’s a tough gig having pets so far down the food chain but totally worth it. Today my Melksy and Harmesy will be front and centre on the couch with me watching the replay. Feathered Melksy has already seen human Melksy’s amazing mark and winning goal many times on my phone but like me, she’ll gladly watch it again and again.

So loyal and yet so tasty 🍗 just joking of course

I know this might be unpopular but you have to admire the Brisbane cheer squad. I’d imagine a lot of them are from rusted on Fitzroy families who very begrudgingly came around, but they really make some noise when they are up and about. It might be because they see a lot of losses in Vic, but they really brought it on Friday.

It’s interesting because in a way it helps make a really good argument for relocating another team away from Melbourne.

I always love it when the opposition supporters start the chant (in this case LIons...Lions) and then lose, makes me smile a lot. Mind you they did start the chant in the third quarter, I thought at the time they might regret this.

Failed coach Buckley has gone down several cogs in my book.

Its the worse lot of miserable naysayers I’ve ever seen in my football supporting life.

Its not footy classified it’s Funeral classified.

I can’t stomach most of them , and only really watch the front bar and a bit of the Sunday footy show these days as anything else is just click bait and unbearable doom and gloom.

Front Bar is OK, I like sam and his quick wit, however it seems they drag out an old calton player every week.

I have that same superpower Spurs! It's marvelous to be able to tune out of the commentary. I just hear the names of the players amongst the waffle. Every now and again something particularly irritating uttered by the clowns manages to slip through the force field

Must be practise from you being " the man on the Telly"

  6. I actually have a skill (maybe even a super power), that I can have the sound on and mentally tune out the commentary until the good Melbourne bits....also helps if your a bit deaf like me.

And speaking of "what gets on my goat". The term "territory" JB's favourite go to annoys the carp out of me.

  7. When we good, I mean really mouth watering good in the past, our strength was how many players we would get to the contest, tonight we seemed outnumbered in so many occassions. I believe tyhe game plan has changed so dramatically that, the gettting numbers to the contest is no longer a priority.

Grundy Gawn has been a failure so far.

JVR was a necessity. TMac and BBB had injury issues.

    McVee, I'll give you that.

My point is that we don't look like a team improving. It feels like 2022/2020 all over again.

You know it wasnt a day for swaps and changes and trying things. It was a day to play hard good wet weather footy and we didnt play basic footy that you might see in the amo's or the VFA.

  9. I am assuming you watched this from your lounge room and not in the freezing cold at thegame:

Gawn - too old too slow

    Grundy - Cameo at best

    Viney - an Herculean effort

    May- great all game

    Lever - steady and effective

    Rivers  Underated best player

    Brayshaw - Drop him now

Neal-Bullen - Better live than on TV

    Bowey - only true thinker

    Sparrow - tough but limited

    Hunter - makes dumb decisions

    Langdon - Drop now !!

    McVee - not the worst

    Brown - conditions didn’t suit

    Harmes - Never play again

    Chandler - Drop now !!

    Pickett - Drop now !!

    Petracca - an enigma ??

    Petty - Not the worst

Smith - continues to contest (not sure what more you want )

Salem - again not the worst

    Melksham- Past his prime
