The Jack Viney Made Me Cry Thread
The Song Formerly Known As replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hard to understand what he was thinking. Throwing punches in the modern game, not going to go unpunished. -

im sorry but O'mac just isn't ready. I believe he will become a player but he is so skinny and weak at the moment. Who is he actually going to play on? Currently he is named on Westhoff. yikes -
Christian Petracca - Rising Star
The Song Formerly Known As replied to Older demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
Did an awesome interview on SEN this Arvo. Very down to earth and likable -
This from the latest article on Jesse: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/jesse-hogan-says-his-selfish-body-language-is-a-thing-of-the-past-after-advice-from-wayne-carey/news-story/05cbf93b33d99498568a84a12f13cc40 Melbourne’s forwards were noted for their selflessness in sharing goals on Saturday, with Hogan saying they will get better the longer they stay together. And if he has fun in a winning side, why would he want to leave the Demons? “We are starting to get that chemistry. Everyone gets a lick (of the ice cream). Jeffy (Garlett) probably handed off five or six goals and Harmsey (James Harmes) got on the end of three Joe-the-Gooses in the last quarter and it’s just fun to play,’’ he said. “The longer we can remain together, the more fun it will be.”

What a shame a lot of those fantastic tackles would be deemed "unsafe/dangerous" and would be given as a free kick to the opposition these days. How quickly the game has changed.

Is Tom McDonald tradable at the end of 2016?
The Song Formerly Known As replied to Binmans PA's topic in Melbourne Demons
Gerard Healy and Dunstall just gave this guy a bit of a bake on, 'On the Couch.' got into him about his form (or lack there of), in comparison to last year (I personally don't think he has been that bad and he is very important to us). they also got into him about not signing a contract yet, because as he (tom) has supposedly stated, he wanted to see where Melbourne were heading (to which Gerard said "sign up now!") and also to see what Hogan would do (to which Gerard said "forget about it tom, as he is contracted until next year") interesting- 176 replies

Is Jetta our best Defender?
The Song Formerly Known As replied to Soidee's topic in Melbourne Demons
Not just our best defender, one of our best players. Huge, huge IN this week. -
Gray the dirty tripper has been cleared. Of [censored] course he has: "The match day report laid against Port Adelaide’s Robbie Gray for tripping West Coast’s Mark LeCras during the third quarter was assessed. It was the view of the panel the force used was below that required for a report. No further action was taken. "

Would love to beat Port. always seem to beat them in the pre-season but when it comes to the real thing we only come close.

Christian Petracca averages. 20.25 disposals 3.25 marks 0.75 goals 4.5 tackles 5.5 inside 50s Just itching for a full break out, but wowee, very happy with this kid.

Needs time in the VFL. A lot of time. doesnt have any urgency for the footy or contest.

If Tom McDonald actually ran hard he could have run him down in the square
