Beg to differ. NoSoup was replying to a trade scenario and his was about list needs rather than selection dilemmas. At trade time its about addressing list needs, eg. do we need another kpf? If it was a selection issue then "hypothetically" that logic could have us with 15 kpfs and only the best 3 get a gig, which is clearly not going to happen But enough from me, back to discussing if Schache will be on our list

Disagree when at this point when we do not have Schache on our list. If the club thinks Hogan, TMac and maybe Pedo are enough tall forwards, then they look more towards trading/drafting mids than aquiring Schache. Of course the opposite is also true.

Perhaps part of the reason for not leaving the Lever deal to the last minute is to know what trade cards we have in the event of another deal. Could be planned, might be a surprise like Lewis.

Hawks have neither a 1st or 2nd rounder this year. Traded last year.

Lever will dramatically improve our chances of rising up the ladder rather than falling. The FD have chosen a proven A grade 21yo player with lauded leadership skills rather than gamble on picks 10 this year and ~14 next year. If it were a top 3 pick I might be disappointed, even then we haven't had too much success there, but Lever is a very good player ready to make immediate impact that will improve us dramatically. We've used high draft picks often enough of late. Now wouldn't it be nice if Balic proves to be a little surprise packet!

Given he grew up in Romsey, my guess is that the club will billet him out to Demonland's own Romsey royalty. A couple of months at the Manor and Lever will surely become a greater deviant than Col Silva. Make sure you at least keep his fitness levels up Uncle Bitter

20 (Watts), 27 and 2018 second round for Schache? Forward line mix of Hogan, Schache, Pedo, Jeffy, ANB, Milkshake and a bit of Trac. Weid developing at Casey until 2019 as insurance for injury or major departure. Schache's competitiveness is my main concern.
