Remove Jack. Nine remain. We are Ninethbourne

A wheel of brie
-
Online videos of his highlights illustrate very poor kicking, which is a worry
-
Very dignified retirement. Big respect Col. Looking forward to his coaching career successes

Adelaide think they are very close to a flag in 2018 or 19. That's why they paid 2 x 1st rounders for Gibbs. An A grade mid arguably could get them there. Most coaches and FDs in that frame of mind don't think more than 12 months ahead. Calton are looking longer term, so those picks are gold for Bolton. Still think we did remarkably well with Lever

Has to be a locker reserved there for a French F/S

'The Windy Weapon' although that sounds like bbo's new year resolution

That's generous.

Yes, but 2 could be used to poach an experienced A grade player

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BALIC
Moonshadow replied to ignition.'s topic in Melbourne Demons
Jeezus! Wish my dad offered me $70k to not take a job. WTF didn't he give the money anyway? Is parental love conditional? Strange cat. -
Watts and Motlop will hardly prove to be the edge Port need. Contested footy is god these days.
-
That I'm quoting you is 3rd hand Earl. I am glad the playing group now knows the standards expected, despite Jacks dad's protestations
-
You don't think every club already knew every detail of what Jack was worth? Beggers belief that some don't realise this. 31 is exactly what he's worth. It's a gamble for PA to see if he'll improve with a change of scenery. Some do, others don't. I highly doubt Jack would've improved with us regardless of who said what to the press. He had reached his cap. Onwards and upwards...
-
With all due respect Earl, it's now 3rd hand from an anonymous internet forum. Hardly an accurate chain of information you must agree
-
How old are you? Time to grow up
-
I'd rather look at it as a learning lesson for the list to know what's expected of them. If Jack's a player that other high draft pick youngsters look up to, then the jettison is worthwhile. HTFU! The moral is NO MORE HIGHLY PAID PASSENGERS WHO DO NOT PREPARE OR PERFORM TO EXPECTATIONS
-
Looks like he he enjoyed his 'recreational' time in Byron Bay, lol!
-
I see both sides. I am not against Jack staying, I do not believe that his position at the club is untenable. I think Tmac and Hogan as kpfs will suit Jack's game. He struggles when playing as a kf or in the ruck. If we trade him for a pick between 20-30 I am confident Taylor can find a good young player in that range, or alternatively a swap of second rounders for a higher pick may eventuate.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Moonshadow replied to stevethemanjordan's topic in Melbourne Demons
Do you know how many votes he polled this year? (hint: more than 0 and less than 2). Can you please tell me when the last key back or key forward won the Charlie? A dominating player should almost never be taken out of position, except in the event of injury eg. Danger this year, or when 15 goals down, as Neita was, to stem flood of goals. -
Folks, I'm going out on a limb here, but I think there's a lot we can learn from our cousins in the football fold (albeit the round ball version). They know how to look after an injured player with speed and absolute care

Col is heading down the coaching and development path. He's been doing considerable work with our women's team. Well respected. Wish him all the best.

Oops. My bad

I trust that Dev Smith was photographed in Essendon colours with a needle hanging out of his forearm. Otherwise he might look out of place on the team photoboard. Now that would truly be an oversight of epic proportions Update: being done as we speak
