Plenty of tricks up your wizard's sleeve, hey Uncle...
-
I hear he has chronic and extreme tinea which has potential to infect a whole team via club showers. Pass.
-
A lot of the boys box at the Richmond gym too. It's been noted that Viney and Lever were there recently.

Any Chance Jake Spencer back to MFC as Rookie?
Moonshadow replied to Umpire Please's topic in Melbourne Demons
His sessions with ex team mates are probably unofficial as it's annual leave time for the list. I would think this covers the club in the event he is injured -
We're all supporters of the MFC, Uncle. Who are we to judge others on the degree of their support?
-
C'mon Uncle, surely you attend every training session and know every face. What kind of weak supporter are you (despite contributing around $1000 per year to the club and attending games regularly, incl interstate)?

It's a yes from me then...

Like 'military intelligence'?

Nearly 400,000 deliveries per month through his software in something like 60 countries with massive growth predicted in next year. He's created a thriving business worth $200mill through hard work and the right IT development. All entrepreneurs start small, often with low margins. But i beg to differ that it is based on fluke and luck, or that they are the why he got to this point.
-
Really? How does a person "fluke" a business valued at about $200 mill? Wouldn't have anything to do with his hard work, IT nous, intelligence and business skills by chance? Pretty successful bloke at the age of 33. The company is picking up good contracts overseas, so the next 12 months will be interesting to watch. Good on him.

Tex is all for easier player movement and more money for the players, just not when it goes against his club. Funny that.... -
Boost to our ruck stocks? Who wants a ready made 204cm 112kg ruck?
-
More suited to trade/draft board, but could this guy be support for Max in the absence of Spencil? Who wants a ready made 204cm 112kg ruck?

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever

Tex Walker is such a hypocrite. Claims in AFL article that Gibbs has taken a pay cut to come home rather than an increase like Lever. Hey Tex, helps if you don't insult an 21 yo AA squad member by offering $350k off the bat. Also digs at Lever and Cameron: "Walker did not waste his latest chance to have a none-too-subtle dig at Lever and possibly also Cameron. "Sam Gibson and Bryce Gibbs, they don't only bring talent; they bring hard work, leadership and (are) great characters," Walker said. "That's what we like to get at our football club. I rate people with leadership and character." Haha! Like a character that gets pizzed watching the footy when dropped like you in your youth? -
Different reason, but weren't Wagner and Hunt originally put on the banner not because of merit? Could also be argued the Watts didn't deserve a spot. Or that Daisy isn't as good a player in her own right as the others. I don't think Nev should get on only because he's Aboriginal, I believe he should be there on playing merit (tick) and for his support of players coming from indigenous backgrounds (tick). If it's only on merit over the previous season I'd argue about 5 currently on the banner should be removed. Surely there is room for more than playing merit as selection criteria.
