Trouble is Harmes is a one paced player and not of high skills.

Agree, I have said that before, Oliver does some amazing things but has a lot of clangers amongst his disposals, he just needs to slow down and then make a choice of what to do.

And people stop blaming the umps we lost that game full stop with dumb football, same game plan as 21 forward line entry is dysfunctional we have a kid who is getting 2 best defender instead of 3rd or fourth, we have a midfield that is one paced we will make finals but thats it if we keep going down with the same path.

Kossie in not a midfielder full stop, should be played deep in the forward line with licence to roam to the 50 that's it.

Poor coaching full stop no back up plan to stop the bleeding, no positional changes in set up just keep doing the same thing.
  6. You are kidding if that happened who is he going to pick up, he can only run in a straight line and has slowed down due to injuries, bit like Buddy at the swans, club needs to move forward.
  7. Yeah let's put him on one of the Daicos boys i'm sure they would rack up 100 possessions and 10 goals for the afternoon, he is one paced and not very skilled bit in saying that he does try his hardest for the club but game styles have passed him by.
  8. Oh so you are suggesting we have an open forward line, where have we heard that before? nah that would cause to much angst here.

Now tell us what you really think?
  10. Depends on how you see the game, or should posters just write beautiful posts all the time because they are melbourne supporters?
  11. Thought Viney had a great game he is so much better when he takes first option.
  12. Ask Yze on that one

AFL new football gear being sold in all outlets now...
  14. In your opinion that is, we will see how it all pans out during the season.
  15. What is?
  16. I could understand it if he was way late to the contest but he wasn't, if he does go what's next broken finger nail you getting a week.
  17. And in the same segment said Kozzie could also be in trouble, then showed the clip of it, this guy is a [censored] of a reporter both will not be sighted and I will surprised if they were.
  18. Look keep looking through the red and blue lenses thats your opinion and that's ok I see it different, you will not change your opinion and I won't change mine end of story.
  19. Suggest you read again first sentence I wrote about kick ins? so tell me where i was flawed, they opened us up on the outside time and time again so tell me why they were able to do that? As for goal kicking have you not watched training clips of Choco placing figures on the mark and them kicking it over their heads, watch players like Trac starting to do that instead of running in on an arc which causes the kicking the action to go right to left for a right footer, it's not hard to figure it out.
  20. Nope not all, kick outs are the same as the last 2 years out to the left out to the left, so that has not changed so if you think that there is a shift in the game plan how come we got ripped a new butt by the lions and the Bombers, again I don't go with all these stats they are a crock of, well I won't say what I think. The reason we are kicking better at goals is one thing and one thing only and that is they are running in and kicking straight over the mark it's that simple and that is something that Choco has done this year, gone back to how the greats forwards kicked. So no nothing much has changed, I bet you were one that thought that we would go back to back flags, well I said after round 9 or 10 that if we played the same way as 21 we would not win it so I will stick to my thoughts how they play, but I am hoping they change the forward setup to get it more open so players like BB and co get more space to run into.
  21. Bit hard to find space on the lead when you play one side of the ground all the time, players not looking to change angles, when in possession on the H/F line they never look inside just down one side.
  22. Good points and reasoning, but my concern is still the game plan entries into the forward line, JVR is a kid and competes well but is not strong enough to compete in a pack situation yet. On your statement on the forward options we saw that last year and yet we are doing the same thing as last year, should have gotten a forward line coach instead of a ruckman to do that who could teach JVR and others how to use the body and leading patterns etc. As for the pies and cats if we keep doing that I agree we will get smoked because like the bombers and lions showed us what can happen when you play one side of the ground most of you players are there in the contest so they leave players out wide, so when they have control of the ball it goes straight to them and that creates loose men and easier entries into there forward line and we end up chasing tail all day.
  23. Well, ask Yze he's the midfield coach, don't know what happened to the idea that if you are getting beaten you stop the bleeding then transition back to your plan seems you wait till half time to say something, cannot figure that one out.
  24. My my, been on the booze and missed out with a girl or guy tonight, you seem a little angry, settle down junior this is called a forum where one can express an opinion or do you want everyone just to agree with you, night night.
  25. Agree he did well.
