  1. Yeah, shut your stupid face McAveney.
  2. Rance dropped a mark, then tried to make up for it unsuccessfully. McAvaney gushing how good Rance is. You fool. At least wait until he does something good.
  3. Does Selwood ever get pinged for holding the ball? That's 2 already that the umpires have let go.
  4. Good on avb coming back. But really ... he's not that good. I saw a lot of his matches ... he's an OK player but hardly the second coming !!! ps. ? I have adopted brace position in anticipation of the responses to this post !!
  5. Andrew's father is a Richmond supporter. His younger brother was also a Tiger, but changed his allegiances to MFC when he was pretty young. Dad wasnt too happy about that. But he (Dad) had the last laugh! PS. We won't get Gaff.
  6. Perhaps there should be a poll as to whether there should be a poll?
  7. Great post. I remember at the time thinking TMac was lucky that it wasn't called a throw. Thankfully it wasn't !!!
  8. Yes, I just corrected my post. Cheers bro.
  9. Thank god!! FWIW, the last quarter was actually very very similar to last week - main difference being the cats kicked 8.0 and crows kicked 3.7
  10. I hate the filth. I begrudgingly admire them. Not their supporters though.
  11. I'm sorry for De Goey. Despite the sympathy I have for the young man, it in no way detracts from my hatred of the filth.
  12. I hate him. Harvey that is.
  13. I've probably said it before (sorry, but I'm a senior) but one of his real weapons is his ability to kick with both feet. So he doesn't have to 'wheel around' on his preferred if the best/first option is to quickly kick with the non-preferred. It amazes me how many players can't kick with both feet. Jack Viney would be so much better if he could kick with his right foot. Same with Dom Tyson. Don't start me on Robbie Flower ...
  14. I agree. I think he'd be a better bet for a HBF than Lewis or Vince. With an occasional run on HFF. He can snag a pretty good goal. I admire Nate, but the fact that he won 3 B+F shows how bad MFC was. Look at the 2013 top 5 !! Eeeek Winner: Keith ‘Bluey’ Truscott Memorial Trophy – Nathan Jones (365 votes) Second: Sid Anderson Memorial Trophy – Colin Garland (360) Third: Ron Barassi Snr Memorial Trophy – Dean Terlich (306) Fourth: Ivor Warne-Smith Memorial Trophy – Matt Jones (303) Fifth: Dick Taylor Memorial Trophy – Colin Sylvia (288) I think he suffered from being in such poor sides. He often tried to do to much. Still does on occasion. Hopefully he can still be a useful member of the team for 2018 and 2019. And possibly 2020 if he can slot into a suitable different role.
  15. Well written/thought out post Dee93. Not sure I agree though. WC is the perfect team for Gaff. Not sure that he'd be as good at MFC. Also he's a few years older than Hogan.
  16. Hey, what about Jimmy T?
  17. Terrible performance by Socceroos ...
  18. That happened at Melbourne too. Team mates just didn't trust him.
  19. How dare you compare ANYONE with the late great Robbie Flower !!!!! Hang your head in shame FE !!!!!
