  1. Was on Sunday night I believe
  2. A lot to like about today's game, although as many have said, the injuries to Jamar and Bennell robbed us of flexibility and rotations and ultimately - probably - the game. Was pleased to see Green bag a few goals and get back amongst it - really hope he can maintain a bit of form and see out the season on a high. Thought T-Mac had a ripper first half, and reckon J-Mac played well again today too, 86 % disposal efficiency again giving lie to the claim that he does nothing but butcher the ball. I'm a fan of Frank Grimes but gee some of his disposal makes baby Jesus cry - aside from the obligatory out-of-bounds on the full, as someone mentioned above, the decision to kick across ground rather than pump it forward in the last quarter was inexplicable. Howe had one of his poorer games of the year today, and lining up for that set shot it just looked like he knew it was going to go wide. Definitely down on confidence.
  3. yeh me too, and not surprisingly, they got louder and louder as the game wore on
  4. So good to see them getting thumped tonight , couldn't happen to a nicer club
  5. Don't like being behind the goals / in the pocket
  6. Bit annoyed to find that the reserved seat option - advertised by the club a few weeks ago at $17 - has jumped to $25 on the Ticketmaster website, which becomes more than $31 when you add in the booking / handling fee! Booking fee - I fxxx-ing printed the bloody thing myself !! #$%$%^$^%&$%^&$%^&%^&*
  7. if only they could rebuild the team as quickly as they can rebuild the site
  8. given the skill level, spectators were running away from the ground today RD , not towards it
  9. Don't care so much about promoting the game in NSW but you make a good point Dee-luded This obviously works with all the News Limited websites - the Courier Mail in Brisbane and the Adelaide Advertiser. The Advertiser website probably has the most footy content being an AFL state
  10. put a cork in it biff !
  11. yep - jack's back and jumping out of his skin to play: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/afl/more-news/melbourne-bound-jack-viney-ready-to-rock-for-vic-metro/story-e6frf9jf-1226410247193
  12. dan wilson is your man sorry, don't know how to link in the pic - http://www.google.co...XR1K2mDg&zoom=1
  13. Tell her a it's good chance to 'stitch up' the Dees OD boom tish !
  14. f@#$ing typical !! wonder how it will impact his team-mates - so much has revolved around Mitch this year this will be a serious test of the team's psyche and resilience
  15. maybe there'll be turbulence and he'll get covered in spew again
  16. you could well be referring to NicNat given some of the threads on here in recent days Redleg !
  17. Reckon you've been pretty much right on the money with your reviews so far Jimmi but rating Seller a 4 - on par with Watts - is a bit generous methinks. Agree he has been better in recent outings though
  18. I reckon Todd's kicking improved a lot as his career went on
  19. cheers, forgot that one - what a ripper, not just the wrong-way banana but the baulk in fact, that whole clip makes us look like champions - the take-away from the stoppage at the start is like a dream sequence! back on topic, bartram has definitely played the best footy of his career this year.. let's hope this isn't the end for him
  20. that's not very simple either
  21. let's hope it's raining goals BB !
  22. and hopefully supporters do WJ, or it's going to be a cold and lonely afternoon at the 'g on sunday
  23. that passage of play is in my all-time favourite MFC moments !!
  24. did he say why ? whatever the case may be, you can't fault his honesty since hanging up the boots.. he pulled no punches in his book, and I got to admit, I was quite shocked how forthright he was in admitting that there were some matches where he could hardly concentrate and the only thing on his mind was the punt pretty much agree with MaldonBoy too - Schwarz is one of the best i have ever seen (I still wear no.5 on my back) and I think he was on his way to Carey-esque heights when he did his knee. anyone who doubts this need only watch his last three pre-knee matches (leaving aside the WC loss over there which finished our '94 season). he booted 9.0 against Sydney at the SCG in round 22, turned the first final around against the Blues a week later, and then helped Garry demolish the Dogs the following week with an exhilerating game in the semi
  25. Going to be a cold wet slog on Sunday - forecast showers and 11 degrees
