Any of the under 18 aust team stand out as a early draft pick because we are likely to have one

Sadly the club thinks playing a couple of good finals last year was a great achievement but too quickly overlooked the dismal showing in the preliminary final. Too many short comings in th team that haven’t been addressed

Neeld has clearly lost the players

I also noticed we had the second highest amount of clangers, 1451, behind Collingwood (1476).
that stat just lines up with the most disposals as Collingwood had most and we had second most

Im just not comfortable with so many journos tipping us for the flag! This has never happened in my 35 years of supporting....
over the years they have predicted us to be rubbish and have usually been right so should be ok

I don’t recall the Danny Hughes full back moving, and the other younger one HFF was hardly a star.
Which one are you referring to?
And Barassi was a big omission.
Did Norm Smith move at the end of his playing career?
Danny Hughes played for the Crows in their first year about a dozen games

'87 definitely the most gut wrenching loss
but 1990 semi loss to Eagles (who rarely won in Melbourne) after beating the powerhouse Hawks 2 weeks in a row to knock them out of finals was hard to take

as long as they don't participate in ridiculous non-football related off-season activities like AFLX

I don't think we will ever get to see Mitch Clark, Dawes and Hogan lining up in the same forward line now

its a great result just with the knowledge of not having to worry about whether he is going home ever again

don't like him but if we could get him for the type of deal mentioned that the Hawks are getting then I am all for it. Need to do what ever t get success

can't we just package up ex-banana benders Brad Miller and Ricky Petterd in a straight swap for May?

"Wantaway star Lachie Neale met with new Fremantle footy boss Peter Bell on Wednesday - the first meeting between the pair. ...Bell believed he could convince Neale to stay at the club, but he failed to do so with the midfielder remaining “adamant” he wants to head to Brisbane.
“It was Peter Bell’s belief that he was going to be able to get him to turn around and say ‘yep, I’ll stay at Fremantle’,”
Bell is living in another universe. Well, I guess he won't get the 'feather in his cap' he was bragging about!
Good on Neale for sticking to his guns. If he had had thoughts of staying, the shenanigans by Bell this week would have convinced him to keep running as fast as he can!
it may have been mentioned previously but besides wanting to get out of Freo why is Neale so keen to get to Brisbane is it $ or something more?

I don't know about everyone else but I used to think a contract meant something.
In fact back in the day a mans word was his bond.
...but now it seems you just sign a contract and abandon it when it no longer suits.
The Beams thing is the last straw for me.
In Hogan's case, those saying that if he stays we need a long term commitment.
He might as well sign on for 5 years and boot off next year if he feels like it.
It's definitely time that clubs are able to trade players in contract to wherever the club wants.
At least that would put some value back in the contract.
I think Mitch McGovern requesting a trade away from Adelaide just 12 months after signing a three-year contract was the final straw

most astounding thing is that trade radio is classified as "Award Winning"

Club is amateurish,
had no idea where it was at coming into the season (thought it was in premiership contention) and now has been overtaken by 8 or more clubs and unlikely to be back up again for years
