  1. Thats why in my opinion, many Demons supporters wouldn't be against using the pick on a proven commodity in Dustin Martin. It also comes down to Roos. I think a lot more will become evident if and when we sure up the Sylvia and Watts situation. I like Martin but would prefer spedning the pick on Scott Selwood who comes without the baggage and has more leadership qualities, but thats for another forum p
  2. Higher Ceiling is probably a better way to describe it. I am not trying bash Aish, and if we end up with him i wont b complaining. All i am saying is in the latest drafts we have missed on guys who have a perceived greater ceilings instead of drafting more of a 'sure thing'. Watts before Rich (Bris) Cook before Darling (WCE) Toumpas before Wines (Port) Morton before ANYBODY
  3. I havn't got anything to gain and having seeing him play would love him in red and blue, jus what i was told
  4. My cousin who also played in the u/18 SA team said that Aish is very similar to Toumpas, an outside player who doesn't like the rough stuff. He reckons that Scharenberg is the better player and has a much better attitide. Aish has a lot of tickets on himself. Aish may have the greater potential but how many times are we gonna draft potential and come up empty handed!!!
  5. Totally agree with demon-jack. Should be seriously in consideration for AA this year. He truely has took his game to the next level. He has not been discraced once this season and he's becoming the next Matthew Scarlett. Not onli is his defensive work immense but his run with attitude, confidence in taking on players and beating them and even his disposal has become fantastic. if he isnt AA this year, i'd already pencil him in for 2011 AA. Even greater to see him belt out the Grand Old flag today, he's red and blue, through and through!!
  6. Would be very difficult to drop anyone on todays performance. Maybe Scully will be rested. I don't think Watts will miss, hes starting to put together some consistant performances and with Bate out is our link up man on the half forward line. Super happy with Bartram's effort today, im my first post on demonland i stated he's always the 1st name to come up on these threads, but today he showed how important he is. Sure he doesnt have the skills, but his endevour and defensive work is brilliant. Don't rest McKenzie, he's tackling pressure is paramount and the main reason Swans had little impact around stoppages today. Possible ins : Moloney, McDonald and Trengove Possible outs: ?????
  7. Dropping Bate just shows that this team is going forward. If your not playing well, you'll get a run in the 2's. The competition for spots will only progess our club greater and faster. I think this decision gives Jack Watts a tremendous confidence boost. Watts plays a simalar role to Bate and will have to do a lone hand this weekend. Hopfully we will see Maric and Bennell at the feet of Jurrah and picking up what ever he can't grab. I think Morton will go to Goodes, who did an amazing job on him last time. Jones to McVeigh. I reckon we will match up very well against the Swans. Clearance work is going to be key. If Moloney, McKenzie, Scully and Dunn can win their share against Bolton, Mcveigh and Kirk we could have another win against an interstate team. Can't Wait for Sunday!!
  8. Hoping to see Bate have a game in the 2's! He is becoming frustrating to watch. He needs to play to his strengths and ability, we he tries to take on players and have goal attempts from ridiculous places, brings the whole team down. Every week people on this forum are askin for Bartram's head, he's had his best season and every week he's getting the job done on the small forwards. I've heard Beamer is very unlikely to play and won't make the 22 tomorow evening. Do we bring in Maric or Aussie? Personally id like to see Addam get a crack, but we'll see what happens.
