Craig Jennings Analysis of Dees Game Plan
Karo will be pleased...remember the highly publicised player led revolt re: repeat commando style training camp pre-season 2018? Bricks on the head etc. Drew a lot of media heat at the time. Obscured but not quite buried by the finals surge at the year end. The โnoiseโ will only be cancelled by some protracted flipping of the switch...

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Gold Coast
That may be rather difficult. If the Gold Coast Suns are true blue dinky-di Queenslanders they will not have a suitcase between them. What they will have is ports.

Not an admirer of the 'horror' genre but the Stanley Kubrick movie was scary.

Nascent are you the MFC travel agent? As this is a most prescient list.

Corey Wagner
Not necessarily, according to Josh Mahoney on this week's The Talking Points, the decision to take less than the full available playing list was taken after consulting other clubs with hub experiences. Where the belief was a reduced roster of players worked best. Plus the need to manage the pressure on players with young families. Apparently seven families with babies/young kids have accompanied the MFC contingent. Those left behind will be supervised by five senior coaching staff and will have the opportunity according to JM to undergo intensive professional development. Corey Wagner appeared to be reasonably prominent. in the Blue team colours in the interclub scratch match at the 'G', two weekends back. Kyle Dunkley, another developing midfielder, performed well in last weekend's scratch match according to Demonland reports. James Jordon and Tom Sparrow are in Manly, so are closer to selection. If the season manages to stay alive, opportunities for Corey Wagner and other players in the Casey sub-bubble may occur later.

Recall Wiz and Flash had rather nervous early debut seasons too. With further opportunity cream should rise to the top. Did admire his selfless, team orientated foot pass to Bayley Fritsch. To set up a first quarter goal against tiggers.

Relocate to Manly Boardrider Backpackers Hostel than. Boys can celebrate Saturday's victory at the Manly Life Saving Club doing the "Stomp". All within budget and no need for an uber.

Demonland Podcast LIVE Tonight 7/7 @ 8:30pm
Tuned in successfully this morning rather than listen to Robbo last evening. On team selection discussion possible ins V Suns, George on the Outer. Your assertion re: Alex Neal-Bullen quote "is not a forward" does not bear repetition with closer scrutiny. ANB is capable of kicking multiple goals. Given the team's dearth of goal kicking contributors and two victories in 12 months of competitive AFL football. His input could be valuable. Mention was made during this week's podcast of the famous 2015 victory at Kardinia Park without Jesse Hogan. ANB in his third game of AFL seniors kicked three goals. Fast forward to round 2 2020, during the dynamic first quarter and a half against the blues. ANB scored two goals and significantly contributed as the forward line 'architect' in at least one other goal scoring assist. Yes Nibbler has his detractors here, but when he is on song, within the compass of his attributes, he is a worthy contributor. Have become regular listener(s) to the 'land podcast'. But in the interests of fair public dissemination of information, ideas and opinions please don't make 'concrete' assertions without some semblance of knowledgeable research.

With 33 players in the hub, club website more reliably reporting 12 players remaining in Victoria = 45 players on list. The Hun stated 9 to remain, but don't let the unconfirmed facts get in the way of a provocative news story. The Definitive list currently seems elusive? At least on the official MFC webpage. Seems a little bit hush hush ... Meanwhile our sources reliably indicate Jordon and 'Red' Sparrow have accompanied the top priority MFC mission to NSW. Additionally we'd like to quash a speculative earlier report of Angus Brayshaw sans Akubra heading west...

North Head Manly surrounded by the national park with the great vista of Sydney Harbour in the background. The team can lick their wounds and re-group. Maybe Tammy Roos can be co-opted to assist with the spiritual healing?

This may appear to be a loser's sour grapes and no way excuses the disappointing performance on show this arvo. But the umpiring did appear to favour the victors. Petracca was crucified by the "infamous' no prior opportunity decision. The umpire told the player, there was no prior opportunity, but penalised him for not attempting to dispose of the ball, with no prior opportunity. A contradiction that defies logic. More goals is good for business. Dustin Martin's arms are pinned to his body and he does not drop the ball to his boot. The ball in broad daylight, moves miraculously by divine intervention to his team mate who commences a scoring chain from half back. The disposal was not actioned according to the rules. Dusty's two handed rugby 'toss' was apparently kosher according to the officiating referee. Everybody's going to Sydney right? Other overlooked rule breaches included late, prolonged tackles. Mitch Hannan releases a handball to be crash tackled to the turf. Next contest, Tom MacDonald is tackled with ball, turnover free is given. And the Hardwick 'Special', from his playing days under Sheedy. Contact with the opposition needs to be as physically punishing as gameday officials will allow or myopically ignore. Bailey Fritsch on the half-time siren. The lack of a team mate(s) remonstrating with the instigator was not a good look.
