Welcome to Demonland Jed Adams
Par contre, it suggests more humble origins and most importantly a great sense of humour. Love to be a fly on the wall when Jed and Max first get together. Vive le gars différent.

Qccentric interpretation of rules re:holding the ball. Do NRL rules apply north of the border? Rest of the country knows this is an AFL game. Send the clowns back to Lang Park!- GAMEDAY: AFLW GRAND FINAL
Straight shootin' Demons to trump Banana Benders in the Moonlight Sunshine State.- AFLW Grand Final Venue
If venue selection is with the âminorâ premiers and AFL approved the banana benders âappearâ to have bent over the national body. The âchoiceâ is provincial at best, and smacks of âfeeding the chooksâ . Joh Bjelke-Petersen should. smiling down or is smiling up from Hades? If a cozy humid 35 degree Celsius is acceptable, a neutral venue like Marrara would be fairer. [Rain is bucketing down here]. If this is âshow casing boatingâ the Womansâ game the AFL has again triumphed. Despite the impediments Give âem Hell Demons!!!- Farewell Luke Jackson
When Young Jackson first came to Melbourne there was a spontaneous reaction. As soon it became clear in his debut year he was so energetic and athletic in action. His third quarter spark on the Grand Final Park silenced the Doggies' bark. Though none of us can accept blame when he chose to turn his back on fame. To return to old Freo for a pot of gold so Mum can curl his hair with ribbons of aurelio reo.- Clarry With The Orange Manbun

i I can almost taste it now...- Which Demon is the most likely to have a breakout year in 2023?
If Spring has truly sprung hereâs a few roughiesâ at longer odds. May appeal to those of the mug punter fraternity. Tommy MacDonald has been somewhat âhobbledâ in recent carnivals after a run of decent form was clouded by injury concerns. Providing the head trainer can work miracles and a decent farrier can be called in (Tommy loves his footy boots). There is always the âpromiseâ of a return to trackside glory. Deakin Smith seems to have been the forgotten âoneâ and appears to have been âparkedâ in the back paddock at Casey fields. Questions may have been asked about bloodlines, but the deep whisper from insiders in the know suggests otherwise. Track watchers report observing some thoroughbred moments, just needs to negotiate the heavy track as he heads to the finishing post. We can also confirm rumors about apprentice jockey Jake Bowie. Who has âapparentlyâ according to DL reports been âseenâ stacking on the kilos off season, with a revolutionary new diet of bananas and stout. In an effort to hurdle the competition for the coveted outside running on the half back flank at Flemington âG. Stewards are expected to be called in to inspect his saddle bags.- Your favourite music to get you through to the Grand Final
Post-Covid; Rolling Stones on tour this year kicks it off ... but will it ever be the same again? Pre-Covid; forgive my Jazz sensibilities, but Herbie Hancock at the Hamer Hall 2019 is just about the zenith. All star band with guitarist Lionel Loueke, bassist James Genus and drummer Vinnie Colaiuta was fusion scent heaven. Speaking of other octogenarians; Sun Ra Arkestra, lead by Marshall Allen at the Forum Melbourne back in 2014 amazing these cats on the outer limits. Back in my sometimes misspent youth, Melbourne was an absolute mecca for live music with a vibrant local scene and venues such as Much More Ballroom, Victorian Blind Institute and many memorable union nights. Visiting bands from overseas and interstate too. My youngest daughter has attempted to persuade me about contemporary mores, which I'm sure are 'good'. But admittedly when you're stuck in a magnificent time warp musically, there is no real need to step out of the cocoon.- Welcome to Demonland Lachie Hunter
- Farewell Luke Jackson
History has primary sources and secondary sources. As time disappears into the rear view mirror the perspectives alter. As Chancey Gardener observed you canât beat being there. Before Luke Jackson went into the ruck late in the third quarter. We could not get our hands on the ball enough to do anything effective to respond to the Bullies hold on momentum. Jackson was the spark that lit the fuse, the pendulum began to swing our way the rest is history.- 2022 Player Reviews: #45 Andy Moniz-Wakefield
Admittedly have an interest in this young fella. As he is a local NT product from the Nightcliff Tigers FC. Who have in recent seasons successfully completed a triple premiership dynasty to now be the top dog in the NT AFL competition. Controversially so in 2020-21 where the coach of the previously dominant St Maryâs team ungraciously slammed the umpiring. To taking the three âpeat 2021-2022 by snatching victory from the claws of defeat kicking three goals in late time on. Notable former players include the younger Michael Maclean and an emerging Liam Jurrah. If some of that magic rubs off on Andy Moniz-Wakefield we definitely could have a player here. The Nightcliff Tigers have a well reputed under age program of which AMW is a product. My mate who has been a junior coach there for many seasons is keenly following Andyâs progress. Indeed he alerted me when Andy was drafted to the Demons. He is full of praise for AMWâs under age achievements calling him a âchampâ. Sincerely hoping Andy is able to realise his talent with the MFC. Trusting that under the guidance of Choco Williams et al, he can roll up his sleeves and give it a âreal crackâ in the big league.- Welcome to Demonland Lachie Hunter
- 2022 Player Reviews: #27 Luke Dunstan
Agree with the general consensus here. If his performance at the VFL Grand Final exemplifies his courage, ability and intent. Given appropriate opportunity Luke is on the cusp of becoming a valued member of the senior team. As others have already noted his ball skills on a wet slippery surface were terrific as was his attack on the ball. Kicked a memorable check side goal at pace, from tight in the forward pocket in the third quarter at the Sydney Road end.- 2022 Trade Report Card
Times have changed the former Fairfax flagship âThe Melbourne Ageâ has now appeared to have shrunk into a scurrilous little rag of a newspaper. âWith its AFL footy entity âReal Footyâ struggling for relevance. So much column space was devoted to the Catsâ trade week triumphs that as Chris Lamb suggested âeveryone is going to Geelongâ. Seems The Ageâs relocation is also eminent. Along with Mark Corrigan and Daisy Pearce. Itâs take on the Dees trade late period was rather trite with condescension suggesting the Demons rely on âthe replacementsâ and are now a âlost dogs homeâ with the acquisition of the two former bullies. Trust it comes back to bite them at âThe Geelong Ageâ. Of course cooler heads will await the longer term return rather than rush for the now gratification fix.- Kade Chandler to be Promoted to the Senior List
Has waited patiently for promotion to the senior list. After an impressive season at Casey including a wholehearted team orientated performance, full of endeavour in tough conditions in the VFL Grand Final. May the footy gods shine auspiciously and merit rather than reputation guide future selection decisions.- PODCAST: Season Review & Trade Wrap
Geelong, Collingwood plus Sydney took chances on younger but obviously talented players during the season gone bye. A number of which added to their teamâs performance all going past the Demons. As an avid VFL Casey Demons watcher and attendee at the Grand Final at Princess Park. We appear to have some very exciting talent waiting in the wings. Did the football department err in not debuting or providing sufficient opportunity for younger players this year? Or are they astutely ensuring future ongoing success by building solid physical and performance attributes that will allow younger players to make an impact when given the green light next season?- Josh Bruce

Alan Johnsonâs performance in the â87 Elimination Final against the Eagles. In their very first final and our first final since â64 was described by coach John Northey as âMagnificentâ. Justifiably so. For those DLâs of a certain vintage most certainly an unforgettable almost legendary time with some great individual and team performances. Despite being derided as âordinaryâ and participating in that seasonâs final series by âdefaultâ. - GAMEDAY: AFLW GRAND FINAL
