PRESEASON TRAINING: Saturday 8th March 2025

Good to see Mitch reads demonland too!! -
Nice morning out here at Casey. Few spectators peeking through the fence like myself for a match sim. I’m busy wrangling a toddler but early highlight has been a big pack mark from Rooey from a centre clearance, with Rooey converting the goal. Go Dees and look forward to seeing others reports also!

Anyone listen to Tom Morris on SEN this morn …. insinuation Langdon may consider retiring?! Anyone on here know anything about that? Would be a big loss for us.
-
Yep agreed. I think there’s upside to pursuing with Fullarton. Noting his age and hasn’t played a heap of football (given his basketball talents).
-
Haha yes well played 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I probably should’ve said - backup ruckman 😅
-
There’s no debating our list is devoid of a genuine experienced mature ruckman. I could talk about that for days. But you are clearly ill informed on Fullarton. And haven’t shown anything to prove “a ruck is his intended role”….
-
So because the club used the term “Ruck Forward”, you conclude that ruck is his intended role? That’s one of the most illogical points I’ve read on here in a while. You would think if someone’s intended role was a ruckman, it would be listed as such.
-
https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1453491/list-boss-excited-by-fullarton-potential Fullarton was clearly recruited as a ruck-forward as evidenced above. Unless you can show something to the contrary, apart from opinion, that he was recruited as a primary ruckman?

A lot has been mentioned already but a few additional points from me (noting I left at half time of match sim) … • Kingy and Montagna spotted so look out for their updates on whatever platform you follow! • Shane McAdam and Marty Hore had a great battle and both genuine Rd.1 chances. McAdam quite impressive • Jeffo, JvR, KFW + Will Verall have all put on some size • Tommo looks a little leaner which I believe will be good for him • ANB was involved in a couple of really great set plays that he was integral too via a kick, handball or tackle • Trac seen doing Trac things • Not sure if it was a set play but Steven May handballed to Jake Bowey from a kick in who then kicked to the opposite flank Gawny was present at … good to see us at least try something different from a kick in • Trent Rivers really looks to have started 24’ where he left off in 23’ • Charlie Spargo and Kozzy ultra physical in a tackling drill at the start of the days session; was great to see the boys mean business even at training • I didn’t spot Lachie Hunter • Great to see the good attendance. Shame the club didn’t promote it somewhat given it fell on a PH. Good morning out …. Go Dees!- 161 replies

Great Stuff GTG :) - red circle is likely the only gate open for ground access - yellow circles are the two dedicated parking bays - green circle is likely the “primary” part of the ground for spectators/fans i.e. it does not sound like the big grandstand section of the facility is open for fans to mingle - not sure how accessible players will be for photos and signatures but we hold hope they will be more than willing to as I suspect there will be a good turn out for a Casey Fields training session! BYO food, drink etc. No shops close by. Cheers -
Looking forward to this session - got a group of about 10 family, friends and kids heading out! See you there and Go Dees! Casey Fields Friday January 26 9:30am - 11:30am
-
Hi He De Mon - thanks, how much are you selling it for? Cheers
-
I think yes if you take the stairwell directly behind the punt road goals….
-
N10 - anyone else close by? Go Dees!

Tickets on sale Monday as per email from MFC Friday Night… “SEMI-FINAL TICKET ON-SALE | MONDAY, SEPTEMBER1 Club member pre-sale 10am-2pm General public on-sale 3pm Fixture and further details published on our website tomorrow.”
-
Pretty sure we are the home team ….
-
-
Last year it was 10 per barcode. Suspect it won’t be the same this year but that’s just my guess….
-
That’s how I recall it too …. I wonder if it will be any different now we are the “away” team? I assume less tickets available for us this time around?
-
Seems like no one can actually confirm if there is a priority window for reserved seat members to access tickets ahead of general admission members?! i.e Priority 1, 2 &3 as per previous years ….. nothing in the email from the club either

If you listen to the interview, you will hear the discussion on the Caulfield racetrack proposal……

Alan Richardson flagged yesterday on SEN that things were progressing well in regards to Caulfield…..
