  1. It won't be until well after 18 - GW$ will obviously be in great need of several priority picks if they don't win the GF, but only one or two if they do. And of course poor old hard done by EssUndone will deserve some too.
  2. There was one short comment somewhere that his run up stutter has changed a bit. Have you had a chance to watch his set shot routine? Can you or anyone else comment on the efficiency of any change?
  3. I think the Sorbent would be a more appropriate place for him. Even though it hurts to to watch my Demons anytime, I cannot go to an EssUndone home game and can't even watch them on TV, whomever they are playing. So can't even watch any footy at all on Anzac Day. Hope they never reach a GF as it would be the first GF in 60+ years that I will not watch.
  4. Gil the Gutless will be really pleased - saves him from making a decision. He will of course feign sympathy for poor Jab.
  5. Obfuscating, like small children who have wronged, they just hope it will go away if they ignore it. Absolutely pathetic to get Jab to present a case, pathetic. Trying to shift the decision making.....FCS that is what they are paid, handsomely, to do. Make decisions in the interest of the game. Gil makes TurnBull look decisive, and that is damning with very feint praise.
  6. I haven't seen him but those who have - are you seeing a late bloomer like James Podsialy? Surely we could only rookie him at best given our draft numbers.

Half full, half empty........or fully empty perhaps ?
  8. Pretty damning stuff in that article.
  9. Put him in the comfy chair and hit him with the soft pillow?
  10. but not in good old Gil's AFL Pope Robbo certainly would I wonder if Sam Mitchell will repeat his injection dig at them when they next play? Would love to see Sam do his hallmark corking of Jab at the opening bounce.
  11. Gil will be lapping this up and will use it as part of his justification for gutlessly failing to make a hard decision. "A prominent sports lawyer said we couldn't"
  12. What I would like even more would be for us to shaft them, regularly, on the field too.
  13. Chris Grant. Drug Lord Jim?
  14. Except that everyone knows that EFC know what they were injected with, which is why they are still hiding the records Sorry, ENYAW.....can't see the logic train that equates nobody wanting a couple of our underperforming oldies, one of whom is injury ridden and can't get on the track, a ruckman who as far as I am aware the club wants to hold as back up for Max, and whatever you mean by satin inc. takes Dunn to us being a sad club. Seems far more like a case of a sad ENYAW who can't be happy about a serious change of direction, upwards, of our club's standing in the eyes of the players in the competition as a whole. 17. I guess you don't understand the vagaries of our "legal system". If Hibberd did take EFC to court etc etc as you mentioned, given EFC's penchant for obfuscation, it would possibly be heard in time for the 2019 trade season. I agree that he should but sadly it is impracticable.
  15. Sorry Gil. Many people think just that. Time to move on to a less demanding job. Compensation? Compensation from whom, for what? From the AFL for not protecting them as they had hoped? And paid for by a ticket levy?? Maybe Denial Andrews will impose a "footy tax" like his "Uber tax" and mooted inner city motorist tax?
  16. Don't you remember they came out of the blocks strong and fast before succumbing to soft tissue injuries - all consistent with poorly managed PED usage Here they are: Commissioners. Gabrielle Trainor (2016-) Andrew Newbold (2016-) Simone Wilkie (2015–) Jason Ball (2015–) Kim Williams (2014–) Paul Bassat (2011–) Richard Goyder (2011–) Linda Dessau (2009–2015) Chairman‎: ‎Mike Fitzpatrick ‎ Chief Exec‎: ‎Gillon McLachlan ‎ Absolute abdication of all responsibilities by Gil and his henchmen, trying to put the onus on two innocent players to make a decision he is far too gutless to make himself.
  17. To bring a person (or institution) into disrepute, surely they must possess good repute to start with. So I don't think they have a case. A body with an extremely tainted reputation regarding both illegal and "recreational" drugs, lead by a person with no moral compass or idea of impartially defending the whole game, has absolutely nothing to defend.
  18. Exactly They would hate to have him testify under oath Can any sane person offer an alternative explanation?
  19. I may have forgotten - does Dank still maintain that he has records? If so why haven't they ever been subpoenaed? Could / would they be were he sued for civil damages by ny or all of the "misjudged, maltreated" players? If they still claim their innocence why the hell haven't they launched a class action against Dank and / or EFC? I suspect it is because they know they are guilty though cannot bring themselves to admit it.
  20. Robbo continues his unprofessional rant upholding the innocence of his darling Bummers despite the highest court in sports doping finding otherwise. He even goes on to say the if it had been heard in English and not German they would have been cleared! I was going to ask "what is this guy on" but I guess we all have our own opinions....maybe he is just demented and deluded??
  21. Reading Sheahan's column yesterday, if they do last that long, there were a couple of likely types who could be still around. (Can't find the thread or post but it is here somewhere).
  22. In fairness (and I actually feel quite ill saying this of the drug cheats) that ain't their problem - it is ours Exactly Can someone name one good deal we have had with these bastards, and don't say Heffernan or Moorcroft ? I am sure if you could trawl your way through the "Welcome to MFC" thread from last year you could find many who thought just that. It was I am sure a "calculated risk" by our recruiting team, who must have at least considered the possibility.

Second year blues? Worth at least one more IMO.
  24. But is he a good set shot at goal under pressure? Thanks Angry
