Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Bailey Finals selections can be horribly tough. You have had a fabulous debut season and it is only match ups that have denied you the preliminary final. IF we win GF match ups may well see you back, otherwise I am looking forward to an even better 2019 and beyond. You are already my second favourite #31 of all times and it is no disgrace to come second to the great RDB GO DEES

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Was the said commentator sober? Weed could well take Jesse out for a goal kicking session .... classic smooth action.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
I very cool and calm, and fierce for a little first year player. Smart kid. And Jeffy could well look at the intense pressure he applies, even when not directly in play. IMVHO he has already displaced Jeffy.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
No. Surely he would find it far more exciting to play the Ross Lyon game style at Freo. ??? It is fantastic to have four mobile talls who are really good even when the ball hits the ground. Gives us so many options. Any of Weed, TomMcD and Jesse could play deep forward, KPP forward (or back) or flank or wing. Such versatility.

Jayden Hunt
Hopefully McCartney can work on these issues. All very well to run fast: not sure he thinks as fast as he runs. Good coaching may round him off.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Well that is good news: heard that Hogan is a nice guy who doesn’t eye gouge or chicken wing.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
It would be a long commute twice a week to train at Randwick though ? To paraphrase the current encumber in Spring Street “not worth the paper it is written on. Can cancel without any cost to the taxpayer”!

Who are our bottom six? And where do they rate?
Maluski The bottom six listed there all have made significant contributions to our ascent into the top 5 position we now hold. Have they all fired together? I thought that they actually did their bit last week v GW$$, and if they can do so again this week it would go a long way towards beating the pu551es.

Who are our bottom six? And where do they rate?
Very succinctly stated.

Who are our bottom six? And where do they rate?
All of which shows that stats don't always mean much The last couple of games in particular, they played as a well oiled unit in a manner that I cannot really remember (well, since 1964 anyway). It was very hard to pick the better players (after Max, anyway) and the 'bottom six' excluding the two injured early would make about as interesting a discussion as the top six. And both of these debates are refreshingly new ... rather like Bulldogs 2016 and Richmond 2017 .... and ???2018???

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
A propos Bradtke and his future development - can anyone tell me how long was Mason Cox on Collingwood's list before he clicked?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Maybe he wants to be a part of success, not mediocrity in the case of WB and StK, and additionally doesn’t like camping in the latter case. Maybe Biff spoke with someone who knows someone to get his oh pair, or was that au pare, a job, unpaid of course

Interesting issue: would any half decent ruckman want to play second fiddle most of the time. Also interesting is that Max apparently thought that Flip was the next big thing too.

Sam Weideman
Gradually working my way through the replay, I am more and more impressed by some of the little things (are these the so called one percenters?) with knock ons, bullocking, shepherding and also his ruck work. Seeing grandpa (the ‘great enemy’ of the late 1950s) and dad in the crowd supporting him made me, hopefully not getting too far ahead of myself, dream of Sam playing the game of his life, his true “breakout game”, being pivotal in an upset win against Collingwood. Go Dees. Go Sam.

The Ollie Whines Lounge
Water under bridge. ? over spilled ?. We now have the likes of Oliver who we may well have not got had we won a game or two more at that time .... just enjoy what we have now.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
IF and only IF Jesse wanted to go to WA, then maybe yes. He was only playing against PRancer that night if I recall. Gave him an absolute bath. Now wouldn't that be an irony, Gaff AND Andrew Brayshaw playing together at the Dees Maybe the original signed edition of "Exciting Footy Tactics" by Ross Lyon?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
What forward would want to play under Lyon’s horrible negative game plan?
