Well Ruffles, I may have gone a bit heavy on Dees players at the moment - mainly b/c we have been hearing how well they have been training.  Apart from the obvious Petracca, I have Gawn in the Ruck and M King on the bench - not sure which one but doesn't matter just needed a RCK/FWD.  I also have Kennedy in the FWD and Hulett on the bench (just thinking he maybe a smoky to make the starting line up (but can change depending on Round 1 teams).  I have also had in TMac and Frost but they are out for now.

FITB - do you have or have you considered Bird and Simpkin?  Cheap and could score well.  I don't see them as keepers but should earn some money and allow for a step up to a premium.

Was there today and had a great time. My two daughters (17 & 19) absolutely loved getting pics and talking with the players. 19yo has a big crush on JKH and got a few pics. Very well done to MFC and also to the greater majority of the players. One or two seamed disinterested but most were thrilled to be able to meet and talk with the kids (and older teenagers!). O'Mac was also brilliant and willing to engage. Another fantastic day. As I said - very well done to the MFC and player for being totally involved.

Apologies for the delay for those who have registered and not received a league code via PM. I am just waiting on some people to confirm if they want to join in again this year. I was only 57 days old - so happy soiling nappies and blissfully unaware...

Unfortunately, after the game last week, I too have loaded up my team with MFC players! Yes its a cardinal sin of SC but at some time Melb have to become SC relevant and have our players score well - and consistently. And with PR's game plane (yes we have only seen it competitively in one game) the high possession style he has them playing means that the likes of Watts, Tyson, Toumpas, Trengrove, Michie, etc are now viable options to at least make some money if they don't stay in your team for the season.

For the record (at the moment, that is...) I have Watts, Georgiou*, Tyson, and JKH in my team. But Jack Martin could easily become Toumpas and any other mid rookie could become Michie and I have had Grimes in my backline at various stages. Yes, I was burnt by Watts last year as well so I struggled to put him in - but sometime it has to click for him. (But I am also starting to question my sanity b/c I also have Shaun Higgins in my forwards!!! ).

* Assuming he gets elevated and plays round 1

I had a few issues with the AFL Fantasy software at the beginning. I had to use up my vintage web browser "De Lorean" and was then able to select my team for 2014. There are still a few changes to be made before I finalise the team. Any suggestions??

Yep Roosy was on stage for a chat (I think about just before 10:30) with Robbo. It was a good day despite the weather and my older teenage girls really enjoyed themselves. I think JKH has won a couple of hearts!!!
