WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
Two days it beggars belief. I will just tune into Demonland around 10.00 tonight. That way all that excitement won't get to me.

If you look at the success rate of drafting in the first round it is amazing how often the players who are picked don't make it at senior level. You are correct the recruiters are the best ones to judge but they have a high failure rate simply IMO because you are making educated guesses. The MFC has done reasonably well in the last few years but nothing is guaranteed.

My wife was in the crowd outside the Southern Cross hotel!

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Could be MR in the 70's the only reason to watch the Redlegs was a certain player called Flower. Or were they called the Fushias back then?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Funny I have clear memories of driving my Valiant 50 years back MR perhaps I am mistaken.

There are lots of things I miss ( like departed friends) but I don't want to go back.

Do you remember dc that they used to give away clothing with emblems on them as a promotion of the brand. Now you pay 3 times as much to wear someone's advertising.

Funny Kev I grew up in a not too dissimilar way. Entre fee was a bootle of cheap red or a couple of long necks, and a good natured attitude which enabled the group to discuss almost everything e.g. Should we be in Vietnam. Oh and it was compulsory to play at least one Beatles LP.

You have the similar attitudes to my father. I will say it again I regret he did not follow the Hawks.

I could handle a lot less nobility LDC.

Sadly I got his " you never change clubs" attitude. Sad some of the things you inherit. I came from Bendigo and we were in Carltons zone back in the 70's could easily have swapped back then.

Captaincy 2020
Trouble is he is fragile. Surely you would expect a captain to play nearly all games in a season Lever will struggle to get half a season based on his record to date. Would need a massive improvement from 2020 on.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
In spite of all the crap I wish he was still at the MFC Ernest, 50 goal a year KPF don't grow on trees. Can you imagine the Weid kicking 50 in season? I can't.

TRAINING: Monday 25th November 2019
Would have been 55, 56, 57, 58, 59,60. Even without 58 it was not a bad effort. Saw the last one Ernest. There are lots of days since I wish my dad had been a Hawks Fan.

We also got sucked in, the pies went the knuckle in first quarter then got on with playing and we spent the rest of the game trying to get even. Would have made it 6 in a row.

I have seen two Durango. To be honest can remember very little of 1960.

In fact he is not one Nasher. Official years are 1946 - 1964. 24 years late.

Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)
I actually don't think he is good enough for senior level dd. Just does not have any serious weapons that I can see.

Has Spargo ever left the ground? I have never seen him.

Small jest there Wiseblood. I know 90% of nothing about potential draftees or the system used to select them nowadays. I just wait and see who we pick.
