Other than the problems of the ageing process I am fine Paul. Sadly you reach a point where something's are more important than others. With the virus and others things, going to the G is dropping in desirability.

Once a club gets over 50k membership the benefits of being a member get out weighted by the inability to use them. With regular membership over 60k the need for my money is no longer important.

The level of membership is getting near the point where they don't need me any longer. 50k and a good results year in 2021 and I will be faced with a big decision.

You can bet your house on milkshake being in the team. After 3 goals last week there is no way Goodwin will drop him.

Just making a comment , as I suggested being not being the home team in today’s attendance difficulties is probably a big reason. Attendances seem to be down on most games. It will be interesting to see how many go on Sunday to pies/ dons game.

I am no fan but how do you drop milkshake who kicked 3 goals and had three of the best side ways kicks to team mates I have ever seen. And you want to replace him with the Weid who’s strike rate at senior level is average at best. Yes he kicked seven but he was playing against Box hill who are far from the best running around in the VFL.

Looking on the positive side let’s say it was 60/40. That means out a crowd of 40k only 16k demons supporters. Poor result really considering we were 4-0 and have 43k members, still not a home game so that probably had a big effect. It will be interesting to how many members go against the Tigers which is our home game. I still think the current system makes harder for clubs like the MFC who have a higher ratio of older supporters.

Watching from home in the lounge room last night it is difficult to tell what the ratio of Dees to hawks supporters was yesterday. There appeared to be more hawks than Dees but TV cannot show this well as there aim is on the game. Anyone at the game have an idea?
