    That's more like it !! We were a bit scrappy early but a burst of class in the 3rd quarter did the business . After that, apart from a couple of disappointing junk time goals, we smashed them. PS . You will never see a better ruckman than Max Gawn ! PPS. That new player, Thommo I think his name is, did ok too.

    I was only a kid but I remember RDB .... It was a vastly different game then. For mine Robbie and Neitz were the greatest of former players but there are couple of today's Demons who may go on to top them for the 'greatest ever' accolade. We should revisit this topic in a few years.

    The Eagles played out of their skins - no doubt about that. That is common when a lesser ranked/younger/inexperienced team plays a contender. Sadly , we could not lift to match that effort. We are kidding ourselves. We are not contenders.
