  1. Well....... surprisingly ....... it's not a sheila ! In order to protect the guilty, I shall say no more on the matter.
  2. I shall be heading to the game (in the comfort of The Manor's dog ute ) and aim to meet up with a disgraced Demonlander and a disgraceful Demonlander over a beer or two. I'm hoping for a Melbourne win and some sunshine. I'm really interested to see JVR in action. I've seen him at training and a little on TV. A number of Demonlanders rate him highly but the Swans as a first up will be a challenging gig . Good luck to the kid! Another interesting aspect is, of course, the absence of Big Max. Obviously Grundy will provide most of the cover but how we go when he takes a break will be critical. I have a feeling Fritter might do some serious damage today but we need big games from Trac , Oliver and the rest of the midfield to provide the opportunities. Still really [censored] that Kozzie is out. Dees to win.... comfortably.... if we play our best fast moving footy
  3. I'll open a decent shiraz if GWS knock off the paper baggers !
  4. I'd be a whole lot happier ( and confident ) if Kozzie was in that side. [censored] me.... I hope he's learnt his lesson and there are no more brain fades
  5. Well .... they certainly won't need a Moomba style float! They'll be able to push it along in a ribbon bedecked wheelbarrow. ( maybe sponsored by Bunnings)
  6. Geez! Did you see that turf being lifted - like a carpet tile!
  7. Excellent Demonstone. Might I suggest though that the title of the position is altered to "Captain of Vice".
  8. Mate.. read my post, I said ..."in the future"
  9. Well here's an untold Uncle Bitter story, In the early 70's myself and my mate got [censored] as nits at the Croxton Park Hotel. My beautiful 16 year old girlfriend (later to be my beautiful wife, now my late wife) drove us, unlicensed, to Mernda. We weren't worried, in those days, we knew the coppers would have accepted that it was the best option. Different times. PS. My wife and I laughed about that for years. Sadly not enough years.
  10. If it's a points issue, it's possibly [censored] poor communication or, at worst, carelessness - I've done the same. Vic Roads or whatever they are called are borderline incompetents.
  11. Maybe it does! It could be an indicator to who is in line to replace Max in the future.
  12. Could someone explain why Grundy was on the bench when Max went off ? Surely at that moment in the game someone should have adjusted the rotations
  13. If we are as good as we think we are, we win this in a canter. PS ... I've gutted my Sportsbet account on this game
  14. I am ashamed to admit it .... but .....I was barracking for Geelong. I just wanted to see Carlton nutted on the line.
  15. BT- " .... he evacuates the ball . " Painful I would think.
  16. [censored] !!! That picture is disgusting !!!!
  17. If he doesn't play it must be due to either the injury or conditioning. If it's either of those why would you subject him to an unnecessary 2 plus hours each way sitting on an aeroplane?
