I remember seeing Jamar for his first game: slow, lumbering, confused, no football intelligence. Subsequently I fumed about losing Jolly. Hats off to the Club for persisting !
Notwithstanding my obvious poor perception, I am still quietly hopeful the PJ will improve too - apparently he'll be considered for next week (after a stress fracture ?).
Personally I still think Davey should be a goal sneak up forward, although more knowledgeable people than me argue he is more valuable pushing up from backline.
We can do without 'A'- grade players for the time-being (but clearly we have some great potential players), but ultimately we will need a couple of big bustling bodies (a la Neitz and the Ox).
