  1. I know you were only joking, but what would they offer him? 2 million a year? (F**k I wish I was Jesse Hogan).
  2. Very true, but a club would hold a lot more trade power with a 5 year contract up their sleeve.
  3. When I first heard about Jesse wanting to leave I was shattered. After my brain processed it for a day or two I became genuinely excited about what we could get in return. If (and it's a big if) there is any back flip from Jesse and he doesn't request a trade, he must sign a minimum 4 year contract extension or we must F him off.
  4. 100% agree. It never felt like he was going to become a Demons great (Neitz, Schwarz, Lyon etc ). Did we feel unworthy of his talents? Was the go home factor always in the back of our minds? Was it his body language on field? I'm not sure. Anyway, it doesn't really matter now. Where as once losing Hogan would have been a massive blow to us, not so now. I think its speaks volumes as to how far we have come as a club and a player list, that losing a player as talented as Hogan may possibly be a positive. But that will all depend on what we get back. GO DEES!
  5. Would love some thoughts on what we think is actually going on here. One thing we know for sure is Fremantle desperately want Hogan. Does Hogan actually want to leave?? Is this being driven by MFC?? I have absolutely no knowledge of the situation whatsoever, but i really get the feeling MFC are driving this and happy to lose Hogan. I firmly believe if MFC told Hogan they didn't want to lose him, he wouldn't entertain leaving. He has shown commitment in the past (obviously things can change). I believe MFC are driving this and a BIG FISH is coming our way (not May).
  6. Love Hogan...but he's worth trading just so all of us don't have to put up with the 'Hogan going home' talk every off season for the next 10 years. ****ing over it! Thanks for the 40 or so goals a year Jesse. All the best. C ya. May for Hogan. I'll take that deal thanks
  7. NO WAY WE LOSE THIS GAME!!!...... .....but if we do, can we open the drafting and trading forum please? Dees by 48
  8. Over to you Todd & Jack...get in his ear and GET IT DONE!
  9. Absolutely. Pedersen should come straight back. Plays his heart out in any role needed.
  10. Dees by 71 Garlett to make a statement with bag of 5 (if they play him)
  11. (Cough) Watts, Scully, Trengove & Toumpas (cough)
  12. If we could only keep one of them it would absolutely be Petracca...why?...I really don't know...it's Mabo, it's the vibe
  13. I do feel for Mark Neeld. I don't know that any first time coach would have done any better with the list he had at Melbourne, regardless of their coaching style. We should have appointed an experienced coach there and then, and that is not his fault. I have often wondered that if Neeld replaced Thompson at Geelong instead of Scott, he may very well be a premiership coach now. He was simply appointed by the wrong club at the worst possible time to bring in a coach of his style, and his career was forever doomed once he received the congratulatory phone call from Garry Lyon. I wish him the best of luck in the future
  14. In - Viney Out - Vince If Garlett plays well in VFL could come in for ANB or Spargo. Players tend to kick a bag against their former team
  15. Dees by 40. Spargo this weeks rising star. Go dees!!!
  16. Bye bye Vince & Lewis. Hello Gaff. Now that would be lovely, just lovely
