  1. You would throw everything at them at the moment Sloonie, even that flat pack kitchen sink that caused you grief before! Nb. Still trying to move on from that "tools in girls hands" comment you made. Giggity.
  2. When the nephew drinks a glass of water, does he leak all over like a sieve?
  3. Pates, don't lose sleep over it mate. It's not just the AFL that is in the sh!t with this one, most sporting codes in Australia are in strife.
  4. My late father always told me "Essendon are a bunch of pricks". I didn't realise he was talking about the needle holes all over their bodies.
  5. Does anyone know if they do drug testing in the state level leagues? I know Lees got suspended, but he didn't get found out through testing. Just makes the Essendon/Bendigo split more interesting...
  6. Depending on what levels the AFL/ASADA take their investigastions, they may be glad that they cut the Bendigo team loose...
  7. I reckon there is every possible chance you will break records with your one-liners on this one B59!
  8. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/afl/dont-blame-the-weapon-says-essendon-chairman-david-evans/story-e6frf9io-1226456149474 "Robinson was hired to build bulk and power to compete with league leaders. Robinson joined Essendon last pre-season on the recommendation of coach James Hird's right-hand man Mark Thompson, who worked with him in Geelong's premiership years." Just saying...
  9. Interesting article... http://www.sportsnewsfirst.com.au/articles/2011/10/14/don-t-push-bomber-he-s-close-to-the-edge/ "Meanwhile, Thompson says the Bombers need to get back in the gym over summer if they want to match reigning AFL premiers Geelong next season... Thompson and senior coach James Hird drove the Bombers through a rigorous pre-season training regime last summer and Thompson says the players can expect more gruelling sessions in the build-up to the 2012 season. "We will do that again this year. We'll keep pushing until we get them big and strong and fit enough to play complete games of footy against the best teams," Thompson said on Friday. "More volume, more intensity, more weights, more education, more skills, more everything."" Yeah, I know, most clubs will say that sort of stuff every year, I'm just being a [censored]!
  10. Wasn't it one of Thompson's first priorities (when he re-joined EFC) to get the players to add up to 10kg as quickly as possible?
  11. It's a shame it's Clothier handling this, he hasn't had much success finding evidence in recent times. I'd prefer someone that can find something that will stick in this (EFC) case. F*** 'em.
  12. Jimcor - to the best of my knowledge, Neeld told Cale to kick with his right foot. That's not a public spray, it's a very obvious observation that cost us a goal, and was a factor in a number of our turnovers throughout the day (and has been for many weeks). If that is going to hurt his feelings, or if it has hurt yours, you both need to harden up. I'm sure Bailey would've had the same verbal exchange, and come to think of it, I wouldn't want to see any coach act differently. In regards to The Age article quoting a Demonland poster, I want to know if the author showed the article to Robbie57 before publishing it. Some of you will understand this question, as a few of us had a healthy debate about what papers can write without permission. Just trying to remember what the topic was...ah that's right, sponsorship! Edit - put the right posters name in. Cheers RP!
  13. Spot on I reckon Mono. Looked to me the words of "kick with your f**king right foot" were the ones coming out of Neeld's mouth, and good on him for saying it - I said it half way through the first quarter! There were at least 3 times where our player chose his "wrong" foot, and it resulted in a turnover. I'm not going to bag a player for turning it over when using their opposite foot, but when they have ample opportunity to use their preferred foot, but still chose the lower percentage option of their non-preferred, they will cop it from me. Watts in the first quarter when I think it was Didak that marked it. Morton did it in the position that has been discussed on this thread, and I'm pretty sure the other one was Trengove. I'm glad our coach thought the same way.
  14. What about his brother Shaun?
  15. Grand-Ma-Rino... I know the A is meant to be an E, but I couldn't do anything about that...
  16. Speaking of that, I wonder how Tim's Grandma Rino is going?
  17. Would be best if you bale then before it's too late.
  18. I was talking to a kiwi the other day, and he couldn't believe how in Australia, we shear sheep. He said "back home, we don't shear them with anyone"...
  19. You'd like to think Lamb will be an expert at finding Followers.
  20. DC - I get nothing for this? Damn, thought that was some of my best work, especially compared to the earlier stuff I posted! Bugger - just noticed the spelling mistake - should've been "check" not "chack", maybe that's where the confusion was! B)
  21. Q. What's the difference between the Melbourne Herald Sun and the New Zealand Herald? A. The Melbourne Herald Sun runs an article with the heading "Lamb travels across the Tasman to check out talented New Zealanders"...
  22. I hope for his own saftey that the proposed push by St Kilda to play AFL games in New Zealand, that the MFC don't have a baa of it.
  23. And players that can kick the bloody thing well. I'm sick of our blokes that continually shank it.
  24. Absolutely DC. I just hope he can find players that can run out forequarters...
