  1. Jack trengove Jimmy toumpas Jack watts All with something to prove under a new coach and new game plan, im expecting a big year for the three of them. The ways things are being set up,it looks like they will be go to players through the midfield,so cant wait to watch them in action, bigger fitter stronger.
  2. Gotta feeling both Toumpas and Trengove will be like men possesed this year.
  3. Excellent work mate, well done.
  4. I just want one or two of the new boys to really stand up and give us some serious drive out of the midfield.
  5. One thing ive noticed differently at training is roos continuously shouting for the players to get back and defend after they have disposed of the ball. Especially in a pack situation. This is way different to everyone running forward of the ball to receive, as we have done in the past, therefore being very costly if we turn the ball over.
  6. Thought he lived in WA
  7. Brilliant stuff...im an exponent of meditation,,and it can only be a good thing for the players.
  8. Everyones starts from square one under roos. Those that put their hands up and train hard , follow instructions and perform well in the praccy games will get a guernsey. Jordie included.
  9. He achieved alot, but he is still a total nob.
  10. Never liked the guy, a narcissist, and a serial bridge burner.
  11. Ive seen him play some pretty good games at casey. Has a good sized body too. To say he wasnt good enough when he wasnt really given a chance in the seniors,is interesting because we never got a chance to see if he was good enough or not. Im not fussed anyway, i trust whoever they pick as rookie selections. Its always a raffle, some will succeed , some wont.
  12. He had alot of injury concerns, but he was talented
  13. Tippett, Tuck, Taggert and Jetta I was going to type in morton and gysberts, but couldnt bear myself to....lol
  14. I was there too, new boys look classy but skinny, they also looked rapt to be there. I was impressed by Cross, very intense, and I can see him as an integral part of the midfield next year. Trengove is looking really fit, best since he has been at the club. Dom Barry was involved a lot in the midfield drills and doing really well. Clark and Hogan trained well and look fit and strong. I like Viv Michie too, he is a great size for a midfielder, looks tough as nails. Watts also looked good and slightly more muscle definition. The main thing I got out of it compared to watching previous years training, was the pace of the whole thing. It's like they were told to step it up a level, and do everything at match day speed and intensity ... lots of talk.
  15. Magic mushies?
  16. Its like saying am i better of with the family ive got, or should i have got married to someone else and had different kids.
  17. Very Fyfe like isnt he?
  18. I picked it as i saw him as the more skillful between he and freeman. Very clever, and will develop onto a luke Hodge type only quicker. His dad owns a few restaurants around melbourne, does anyone know where they are?
  19. Freeman cant kick, Salem is an elite kick, and runs all day.
  20. Sheed is a good mate of jesse hogans
  21. I reckon its a monty it will be Scharenberg or salem, depending who is available, and what type roos is after.
  22. I like salem because he is damaging , and has great poise and skill as well as a bit of speed and x factor. He has the ability to make that crucial pass or kick that important goal when you need it. He doesnt waste it, either. If we have jones ,viney, tyson and michie as insiders, he would be the perfect fit as someone to give the ball too along with toumpas and watts.
  23. I studied it carefully and its looking like Salem, from Scharenberg and freeman. Salem has the lot really, pace attitude, size and skill.
  24. Nicholsons pace is saving him, but he has to do something next year.
