Agree. Changed the way small forwards played with his speed and defensive pressure. Would have played 200 if he did not come to the afl later than most. Have great memories of how much excitement he brought to the dees. Hopefully will stay involved in some capacity as he plays a valuable mentoring role for younger players

It would make a farce of the term priority pick if we do not get one. The afl said they would only be granted for multiple years of poor performance to stop teams being rewarded for one bad year. On that basis we have had five poor years in a row and if we don't get one no one ever will. Actually you could almost argue we have had decades of poor performance!

I actually think we have some decent mids to work with - trenners, jones, Viney and Mckenzie as a lock down tagger. Clearly we need another four good mids to work with them. I think Sylvia has value in the mid rotations. Other than that the cupboard is bare. But geesh we are ordinary around the flanks and pockets (these are the players that should form part of the midfield rotations). We are a long long way back.....

I'll be there and my two little guys are in the guard of honour. So make sure you cheer loud for them as they are copping it from kids at school and even the little one gets it at his kinder for being a dees supporter!

So there is a 25 page thread on a first year player in the most crapola side I have seen. Do you really think this kid is our biggest problem?
