  1. good call. I would trust my opinion and that of many others before Mark Stevens. I would like to see how much he knows about the club of he was to come on and match knowledge with some of you heavyweights!

plus every 2nd jerk in the media just loves to kick us when we're down

what are you all talking about he is doing a GREAT job just like DB

  2. yeh, because it is also a team based decision, and it is voted upon by all the players!

oh lets all vote for the old guy he should get the job done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how many of you really think Green should have got the job

this is whats wrong with this club lets stand up for the [censored] coach and the [censored] effort they give every second week

  3. The article is Spot on for mine, it has been a problem at Melbourne for a long time.

I believe it will be difficult to change, DB has had 3+ years and a large change of personel

    and achieved no culture change.

Given the injuries we now have I struggle

to see us winning more than 5-6 games this year.

That being the case DB is gone so what for 2012.

I doubt that an untried coach could achieve a culture change it needs a older successful Coach

who has the steel to force it through.

It seems to me that there are only two people who could produce the required change at present.

Both may be doubtful starters as coaches but IMO they are Malthouse and Matthews.

Malthouse will be hard to get, if he wants to leave there will be a bidding war as there will be a number of spots available next year.

Matthews has shown no sign of wanting to return to coaching but he has the steely determination to get the job done.

Neither of them would be cheap but you get what you pay for, both are multi GF winners at different clubs.

We should do whatever it takes to get Matthews IMO he is the guy for the job.

so hardwick is not doing a good job at Richmond ?

l see more change at richmond then melbourne DB should never have got the job that simple !!!!!!!!!!!!

l wanted Hardwick back then and got shut down on this site for saying that.

all things come around again and the old coach that will but you on your ass for stepping out of line will come back

not a coach that thinks a tap on the hand is hard DB is soft the club is soft and anyone that thinks all is looking good is f*cking soft to.

you turn up to work to do a job and if my boss offered me a match payment on top of my base wage to work l would put my body on the line.

all l can say is the afl is soft the melbourne players are soft unless your on facebook or twitter grow up BOYS your working in a mans world

  4. Green has been in a shocking form this year. I don't know if he's carrying an injury but god he's lost his pace, and his kicking has totally gone down hill.

He was cruising out there today, which is so disappointing after he made great inroads last week.

I think it's easy to blame Bailey for everything that goes wrong, but often there are plenty of things that are beyond his control, and which he cannot be blamed for.

A captain going at half pace is one of those things. Greeny has absolutely disappointed me this year, and I've always been a fan.

well if its not Baileys fault can you tell me who is in charge of giving them all a game !!!!!!!!!! coach has last word

  5. ROCKET

out of contract and has made finals with teams that could not get of the bottom.

only once made a grand final but has just missed out about 4 or 5 times.

game plan would suit MFC and sure he would change it a bit

  6. back to basics ?

what the hell do they do all week ?

they are full time employes of the MFC which work all week l,m sure none of them have to go back to basic surfing lessons again.

get a grip l dont pay my hard earned money on the club to show nothing !!!!!!!

  7. well lets see this week we should beat the crows due to all there reports coming out of the saints game.

then some dicks will call all of us over the top dopes but then we will get killed again this year and we will all back on the get the coach out of here again.

lets face it Dean has been a good rebuild coach and should be given a nice sent off.

but the time has come to get a new voice in there as a member l will not be going to any more games this year as my vote againts Dean.

BUT l will NOT cut up or threw out my membership as this is a vote againts the Melbourne football club which l love.

    TIME FOR CHANGE

    ROOS

    Mick

    start contact now

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

  8. we are [censored] lets face it !!!!!!!

brisbane and gold coast our only wins and a draw with sydney that stuffed up the sub rule in round one that COST them the game.

to say it all l,m in a footy tip comp with 12

2 are melbourne well guess what the 2 melbourne supporters got the tip right

  9. Did the humidity disappear in the fourth quarter? I thought that was the reason GC got on top of us in the third? After all, you said they have been training in these conditions for a year... maybe the humidity only affects one team at a time? Is that it?

just what l was thinking .

  10. You still don't understand what any of us are saying. Listen carefully.

No one doubts that humidity will affect performance.

What we have pointed out, is the fact that there was no apparent effect on the GC players, therefore it is not an excuse for AFL players (as opposed to GC kids) to blame humidity. If both teams slowed down, then you may be able to attribute the lack of scoring on fatigue/humidity but you can't attribute our performance to it, where the other side are running around as normal.

key word KIDS good to see our kids are not up to it as much !!!!!

  11. Yesterday while collecting my scarf and horns Tom Scully was at the membership stall. I asked him how long it would be before he's back and he said round 6 after the bye. Yes at first i was wrapped but he didn't say it with conviction and certainty. it seemed an average answer. I have a quiet suspicion that the club might not be letting the kid play because he hasn't signed on yet. He seemed unhappy and wasn't smiling.

and so he should not !!!!!!!!

only play the ones that are happy to come out and say they want to stay. trying to push up his price well hope he is enjoying the match payments oh thats right he cant get a game.

dont care if he goes as long as we have JT & Tappy and those other players that have come out and said they WANT to stay at melbourne .

  12. What odds can I get for a draw next week too?

l have been to 2 games this year last sundays and also friday night with a mate who is a tiger fan.

what are the odds l can get to see my 3rd draw ? never seen a draw live before this year and do the afl only have jimmy barns besides club songs on hand.

after both games same song played

  13. Watts should be running around for casey and thats that !!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes when he has no time to think he is good but every time he takes a mark he is to slow at doing anything with it it makes me sick.

not hard at it to soft looks like he would be happy just running around with fev.melbourne s next TJ will never live up to 1st pick will show signs but thats it

  14. Well that seals it I'm over hunch's anyway. I'm on the Tapscott bandwagon too, and he's a nice guy!

Well what have you got to say NOW l guess you are still trying to pick your self up just like shaw you tweet.

like most u have to give sh#t to any one who has a comment to make you dont like
