I'm happy with our coaches except maybe our forward line coach. And even then, he has little to work with.

I'd say the BEST thing to do would be have a football department that knows and trusts one another. If we went for every coach that was available in every vacancy we'd end up with a different brain-trust every season.

I only get excited about coaches, and assistants, when someone leaves, gets promoted, or retires. Otherwise, how about we have a bit of faith in a group that's only been doing their thing for a season and a bit.

in the end we all want the same thing to see the red and blue holding the cup on that one day we all dream about .

But he is an assistant coach already why would he sign on at Melbourne when he can apply for a senior coaching role in 2010. The general process is an assention toward a senior coaching role and noting the fact that he is currently employed by Hawthorn this would be a regression of his career I suggest.

You have a good point but if you look at brain royal or chris bond these men where once heading the list of young blokes looking to be a head coach.
