Thought he was incredibly ordinary for the first half. Worked himself into the game after half time, but was so-so for mine. Calling him a champion of the game is beyond laughable.

I note Jon Patton's not getting a game. MFC supporter as a kid, was on the rise before his injury. Big lad. Does anyone think he'd be a good foil for Hogan?

Still reckon we'll get Prestia and reckon we might get Lynch too. I've no doubt Roos and co are targeting blank flankers with skill that have the versatility to also push into the midfield.

Lynch, Prestia, McKenzie and Whitfield would do me nicely. Dreamworld, I'd add Bennell. Second rounder on Lynch. First rounder on Prestia. Future second rounder on McKenzie. Future first rounder on Bennell. Howe for Whitfield.

What I really like about this is that it's a very young list. We'd only have to replace about 5 players over the next five 3 to 4 years. Plus, we'd need to fill those 5 question marks. Two more draft/trade/FA periods should get us the majority of those players and after that, it'll just be a case of ensuring we have good deoth and any non performers are shown the door. Gold Coast's McKenzie, Bennell and Prestia would be a good start with three of those question marks.

Fair enough. I'd be waiting until the end of the year. Who the heck knows what we'll do over the next few weeks. No doubt though, some heads need to roll.

So you're taking it to mean that there will be more changes than originally expected? Surely it hasn't surely since two weeks ago when Roos said there wouldn't be as many changes? Not saying there shouldn't be lots of players shown the door though. We could probably lose anywhere between 8 and 10 players.

Agreed, mate. Happy to see all those mentioned depart. We need to keep building our midfield. We're gonna need to pay for it. I'd offer Danger a front-loaded 5 year contract at $1.5mill. I'd also trade future picks to GWS for Treloar and offer him $800,000 at 7 years front-loaded. I'd then put an offer to Hogan mid next year of 10 years at $1.7mill a year. We have to be bold. All draft picks should be up for grabs and in a weak draft year, we should be targeting current AFL players. A graders only. Easier said than done.
