Angus Brayshaw
Got a lot of it today, but was going at well below 50% DE at a point. Tidied it up slightly, but would be a lot more damaging if he hit more targets. He's working up some great form though. For a guy who struggled to accumulate, he's found himself with leather poisoning the last fortnight.

Andrew Gaff
It's not actually. Unlike the contractions "they're" or "we're", "who're" should be written "who are".

Andrew Gaff
I have no inside info, simply a feeling that he's already verbally committed to us, ala Lever. I expect a Demonland "insider" will take a similar guess sooner or later too.

Jake Melksham - the AFL's one on one king!
Great post mate. Melksham's linkage between the midfield and forward is absolutely pivotal to the way we play. And as you say, his delivery and decision making is clearly elite. Well done, Melky!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
I love this kid. Rarely wastes it. Great peripheral vision and game sense. Tough as nails and a great side step. Incredible to think he's only played a handful of games.

No White for MFC Clash Jumpers for Season 2018
We still haven't lost in the jumper and already took out the AFLX premiership too. ?

Adelaide’s Tom Lynch
Hogan, McDonald and Weideman. Where does Lynch play? The only thing I can think of is us leaking our interest in Lynch to provide us some leverage in the McDonald contract talks.

Ladder predictor
If we're both in the 8 come Queen's Birthday, we'll get 80,000+.

Is Brayshaw more rounded than the Trac?
I have question marks over Gus' disposal (particularly by foot over short distances). I don't remember him hitting a target by foot in the first half. In the second he kept it simple and less fancy and was a lot more effective. He was brilliant in fact.

Angus Brayshaw
A real game of two halves. Was terrible in the first half, was excellent in the second half. He's another that likes playing St Kilda. Let's hope he can play most games like his second half. Viney, Oliver and Brayshaw could be deadly. Add Salem back into the team as well and we look very good.

Dom Tyson
I'd play Jeffy and Tyson in that team. I'd look at someone like Spargo or Baker instead of Vince. We will get exposed on the MCG playing Vince and Lewis every week.

Dom Tyson
I reckon we might try and trade him to get cap room for Gaff. We'll see.

Gaming - we are out!
But he did believe in a universal basic income, which the Greens have now adopted. Funny that.

Gaming - we are out!
That's neoliberalism. The capitalist system isn't inherently wrong or ugly, but when you think like a neoliberal and act like one, the capitalist system then widens the disparity between the small amount of rich and the vast number of poor. Ah, what am I doing engaging in politics online? At the end of the day, this is a good move for the football club financially and the ethical/moral repercussions are thankfully a fortunate byproduct. What we're then left with is a stronger public image (encouraging membership growth) and an attractive and healthy corporate image, which can be used to seduce corporate sponsorship.

Gaming - we are out!
Which may even align itself with State Government co-funding for the new facility, along with our brand receiving an increased positivity in the corporate space.
-
Gaming - we are out!
The move is certainly multi-pronged, but at the core of the strategy is surely this new training/members facility.
-
Gaming - we are out!
The way I read Bartlett and PJ in that press conference is that this is directly related to our new facility.
-
Gaming - we are out!
Yep, this will align with corporate responsibility in many industries. I'd be staggered if this decision was made without taking into account the positive package we can now pitch to potential corporates.

Bernie keen to lure Sloane to the Dees
So you'd be prepared to pay top dollar for someone you call depth? Okay. I wouldn't. That's not how you build a premiership list.

2018 Contracts and List Details
Hogan and then Salem, please.

Bernie keen to lure Sloane to the Dees
I'd rather nick a GWS mid from them. That'll certainly bring us closer to them. Shiel, Coniglio, Whitfield or Kelly. That said, priority one for us should be ensuring we hold onto what we've got. Yeah, I'm confident that by the end of 2018, if injury free, Petracca, Salem and Brayshaw will be a feared group, lead by Oliver and eventually Viney.
-
Bernie keen to lure Sloane to the Dees
Absolutely. Never said he wouldn't be in our best 22. But what would he offer (specifically) that we don't already possess? As you say, at what cost? I'd take him if he came cheaply, but he won't. Oliver, Viney, Petracca, Salem, Brayshaw, Tyson and Jones will do me fine.
-
Bernie keen to lure Sloane to the Dees
What does he provide that most of our mids don't already? Apart from an inability to break a tag... He's meat and potatoes. That's it.
-
Bernie keen to lure Sloane to the Dees
No, thanks. Sloane doesn't excite me.

Petracca wants to start in the guts.
No reason why he can't be as good as Martin by the end of 2018 and as damaging forward as the bikie.
