I don't mind Brisbane supporters. Their Melbourne contingency has got a grunt about them probably from the old Fitzroy crew. They bring good energy and support to their games in Melbourne. And smarter and more knowledgeable about the game than whinging SA and WA supporters.

For three years they have gotten away with their dead ball gameplan whenever they're threatened. It is putrid football and Carlton does the same thing. It doesn't work without good ball users which they have. But if you stop their outside runners and in particular Daicos as Hawks did to some degree tonight, you can beat them. Hawks should have won that and would be hitting themselves over throwing that away. I reckon Pies are in for a rude awakening when they play GWS, Melbourne, and even GC.

Why does Charlie Dixon always seem to turn into Wayne Carey when we play Port.

We're not as close as the scores suggest. They are smacking us in the air, on the ground, and at stoppages. Port is an average good side but they always play their Grand Final against us and we get sucked into their ducking.

I think we're making Port look better than they are. We look much slower and far less structured than in past weeks. We have struggled to really get going against them in Adelaide the last few years. We also need to use the corridor way more.
