I thought the players were actually genuinely sore? But it is strange that 7 of their best are hurt all at the same time, and to the extent that they all can't play. If that is the case, it's an absolute joke. I'd be livid if I were a Fremantle supporter. I'd also be livid because they rested our 7 best players B)

I don't know about the OP, but I don't want my team to get belted in the final two weeks. Go hammer and tong and throw everything at your opponents. Finish the season on a high, and take it into next season. We're 10th, not 16th.

Definitely an A. Exceeded my expectations, and I expect us now to end on 10 wins. We could have been playing finals football, and came close to beating the premiership favourites twice (and were the better team on both days). To say any less than A is to say that we should be higher on the ladder, 6th or 5th, and I think those expectations are a little too high. Still a year off finals football. Won't be playing them this year, but we'll return next year.

That's a one-eyed passion I admire, but also have sympathy for. We've been a club that has failed to grasp the fundamentals of what it takes to be a successful BUSINESS, as opposed to just a successful CLUB. We've been a very poor business for going on 40 years now. We may be pioneers, but that doesn't dictate quality imo. Look at Sheffield Wednesday. We haven't done anything for the league in 40-50 years. I've never denied who I barrack for, and I say I go for Melbourne with pride, because I want people to know how dedicated a supporter I am, despite recent failures. It says a lot about a person's character to stick with a team so aggressively when they're failing. But I can say that we are far off being the greatest club in the world at the moment. We may have been one day, but we've failed to take advantage of our age and position in Australian sports culture, which has allowed clubs like Collingwood to overtake out. Being good 40 years ago means nothing now. But we're on the way up.

The attitude of some on this board is laughable. What the hell do you guys expect? 22 straight weeks of great performances from a team with weak bodies? 1. Bailey is signed on until the end of 2012. Stop saying we need to get rid of him. No other coach would get more out of this side. Just give it up with the Bailey bashing. It's pointless. He's doing no worse than any other coach would. 2. This team will not be playing finals before 2012. Meaning in 2010 and 2011 we will NOT be a finals team (logic says that if you're not in the top 8, you're not a finals team), which in turn means we will most likely lose against top teams (like St. Kilda). 3. We were down by 3 goals at three-quarter time, and the way some of you are carrying on it's as if we lost by 100.
