Oh well, was just a cherry on top anyway. Should have known we couldn't rely on these absolute plonkers.
-
Shitncorruption Fremantle. You useless, useless bastards. Get moving!
-
You could eat? I spent the whole last quarter feeling like I was going to vomit.
-
Doh, sorry. Brain fart.
-
No, nothing, just not a fan. It was a request more than a question :-)
-
I'll live with it then.

I know beggars can't be choosers, but can Freo win without any more goals from Ballantyne? Yuck.
-
A Freo upset over Geelong will really throw the cat among the pidgeons. They're ahead of us by a paltry .1%, so pretty much any margin will do it. Big ask, though. That'll put us 4th, behind Port and ahead of Geelong on percentage, a game and percentage behind Adelaide, and 2 games and percentage behind GWS - Port, Adelaide and GWS in the run home. Exciting stuff. Go the Dockers.

PLUGGER MCDONALD Err, I mean, CARN THE DOCKERS!

Burgs has been a bit slow getting the post match interviews up. Probably too hungover from a big night on the sauce with the boys in Perth.

Yes - we give our own player the benefit of the doubt, and don't give the opposition player the benefit of the doubt. So what? Bias in footy is hardly a new thing - it doesn't make the position of those defending Oliver wrong, though.
-
Thanks, I've been looking for a new avatar.
-
When benefit of the doubt could be applied, then yes, I would like some reasoning/logic to explain why he might have done it.

What was his motivation for diving?

What was his motivation for diving?

Why would he even stage anyway? There was no free kick on offer. The way the footy public wanted to hang him over it was embarrassing, but that's to be expected. Let's be honest, when something looks dubious, it's fun to assume the worst interpretation when it comes to opposition players and bag them for it a bit. But I would have thought most MFC supporters would want to give him the benefit doubt. I think if you're a Melbourne supporter giving him stick over it, you should be ashamed of yourself.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Nasher replied to Theo's topic in Melbourne Demons
He and Hibberd sang the absolute sheet out of the song. Loved it. -
I saw Viney grimace in pain with the shoulder while on the bench. Could he... could he be human after all? Nah. What an effort that was.
-
I don't really want to ponder outs at the moment, but Watts is a definite in and from the outcome of the Casey game, Kent, JKH, Kennedy and Weideman all in form to warrant selection as spots become available.
-
I thought he did sweet FA for the first three quarters. Was starting to ponder how we were going to get Hogan and Watts in, and Weid's good form in the VFL... Then he put me in my place. That was a massive last quarter effort.
-
Up bloody early again after far too little sleep - seems to be becoming a trend for me in these heart stoppers. Think I'm just going to yell PLUGGER MCDONALD at any other human unfortunate enough to come across me today.

PLUGGER MCDONALD

When the inferior Jetta missed that goal was when I started to think, hmmm. Just had that feel to it. The effort that went in to the last goal was immense. It goes down on the score sheet to PMac, but it had the blood and sweat from 22 of them. They were tired and injured, but they just kept grinding it forward with everything they had. I think it's the sheer guts of it that has made me giddy.
