  1. Wake up you lazy bastards. You’re getting toweled up by a bottom four team!
  2. Our defense is well down this year. As a whole team we struggle to fill the right spaces like we did in 2021. We also still lack a quality small lockdown defender and I don’t think Mcvee is it.
  3. Big time. He's our onfield general. Even when he's not in the best form, he's organising the troops and filling space that stifles oppositions ball movement. He usually winds up with a horse voice by the end of the match from barking orders! From a leadership and onfield coaching perspective, he's our most important player. Our next captain IMO. It's a shame he got injured. Hopefully it doesn't impact his form too much, as he was in All Australian form to start the year.
  4. That's definitely the most memorable part of that meatheads career. He's one of those faux tough guys that starts fights against unsuspecting opponents who are vulnerable etc. He's a slug. I don't boo our ex players like Frawley and Rivers. They left in the late stages of their career to try and find some success before their career was over. Can't begrudge that and I'd have done the same in their shoes. I did boo Scully though. That was purely based on him lying to Stynes on his death bed etc. That rubbed me the wrong way. Anyhow back on Freo, it's looking like we'll wind up with pick 6ish IMO. Jefferson, pick 6ish and 24ish for Jackson is a win for us IMO.
  5. Love this match every year and the ceremony beforehand. We’ll win comfortably tonight.
  6. Very tall already! Hopefully another Dees fan who gets to live the dream.
  7. They’re currently missing the second most games through injury in the league. I just find it humorous that some on here are writing them off in round 6 when they’ve got an enormous injury list at present. Not sure if it’s an over reaction or a lack of knowledge about other teams. They’re still in the 8 and will likely finish top 4-6 still even with this poor run of health. We belted them when they had a healthier list. Nothing should be taken away from that win. We were simply too good!
  8. Are posters here unaware how horrific Sydney’s current injury list is? They’re missing an entire spine and more of talls. They’re not just rubbish, they have half a team missing. Off the top of my head they’re missing Rampey T Mccartin P Mccartin Hickey Buddy Amarty Reid Take away the Full back, centre half back, third tall defender, ruckman, centre half forward, tall forward/second ruck and full forward out of any team and they’ll capitulate. Given their injury list, tonight’s belting is completely expected and until they get some talls back the Swans are in for a world of pain.
  9. He’s the worst ruckman in the league.
  10. 3rd or 4th round pick probably. He's a pick 33 who hasn't placed in a BnF or anything of note to increase his value. We'll realistically get a pick in the 50s-60s for him. For JJ's sake, he'd be better off moving to another club. He's performing better than others getting a game at AFL level every week, yet is being bounced between VFL and sub. He's capable of AFL level and should be getting a game every week. If we can't offer him that, then he's better off leaving. Can't keep them all!
  11. Surprised to see Cotchin is still playing this year. I assumed he retired already… his numbers and impact back this up!
  12. I have no issue with forwards “burning” team mates. A forwards primary job is to kick goals and they need to take ownership and attempt to do that. If a forward gets the ball inside 50 and not on a tight angle, they should be having a shot. Attempting to pass just introduces another opportunity for the opposition to intercept, gain control or kill the opportunity. If a forward like Fritsch converts at 65-70%, they should take the shot everytime. Look at Petracca as an example of someone who often tries to pass it off instead of taking ownership and having a shot. He often second guesses himself. He’d kick 30+ goals a year if he took more of the gettable shots.
  13. Keep frowning. 100+ point belting coming up unfortunately.
  14. And for the one he holds onto he will have missed 20-30 attempts and therefore likely 20-30 scoring opportunities. He’s a small, his job is the crumb. Every time he flies instead of staying down he costs the team. The coaches need to work with him on his discipline and role.
  15. If for some reason Kozzie wants back to head back SA, can we get Butters from Port please?
  16. Wiped 100k off his contact tonight 😛 With them announcing Rivers and Mcvee extensions, hopefully they finish it with Kozzies signature.
  17. This should’ve been a percentage building win against a loser club. Instead we’ve [censored] the bed and no one is putting their hand up to try and stem the tide. This has been a game lost by poor leadership and laziness. Our worst loss since 2019-2020.
  18. Big time. Could’ve gone top of the ladder with a win. Now we’ll likely drop to 6th and be amongst a big group currently fighting for 4th-9th spot. Very disappointing day for the club.
  19. Ducked into a tackle and got concussed.
  20. That’s pretty much game over. What a pathetic showing this has been today. This could be our worst loss in 2-3 years. And against this loser club. What a dagger in the heart.
  21. [censored] first half Dees. Lift and get the job done. We’re losing to a loser team with no forward line! Brayshaw our only player who can hold his head high after the first half.
  22. Playing like trash. A long way to go, but disappointing first quarter. Our backline struggles without Lever to direct. He’s the onfield general and best leader we have.
