We really need kossie to stand up this week. Been down for a while and missed gettable goals. Need at least 2 from him and a high pressure crumbing ,tackling game. Him flying for marks makes it to easy for the opposition to clear. Kozzie is about 1 from 80 so it's a low percentage play.

You’re being generous with 1 out of 80 though. I can’t remember him sticking one!

we definitely need him firing to win this week given our lack of firepower up forward now. He’s looked dangerous recently but been inaccurate and rushed when taking shots.

I understand Eddie is happy with the decision but to celebrate like that when someone just suffered a brain injury was in very bad taste

Eddie is a walking racist pig. No surprise that morally bankrupt fool was celebrating someone wearing prison bars getting off for caving an opponents head in. Disgusting pr*ck.

I saw ex pies player Brodie Holland wrote a long piece about Melbourne FC and it’s supporters being sooks. Bit rich coming from a known sniper and a wimp who literally burst into tears on field when he lost and had to have a cuddle from his coach to be consoled. What a tragic waste of skin his existence is. Pathetic human.

  3. Looks like he’s gonna get off here. That was a weak submission from the AFL. Pies defense picking it apart now.

These tribunal hearings are some seriously braindead representations. How are these people paid professionals? I feel like a first year uni student can mount a better case than these clowns!

  4. If we get past Carlton next week, Brisbane at the gabba looks a bridge too far. We’ve performed far better at Adelaide oval so was hoping Port might get up tonight, but Lions are an offensive juggernaut up there. It’s a real tough path for us now

  5. Carlton get good value out of their stoppages. Don’t necessarily win lots more than their opposition, but when they do it comes out front quickly and upsets opposition defensive structure. We had that quality in 2021 and would love to get it back. They played a very similar style of game to us. They’re showing tonight how to create a contest and not allow a running team to get out like the Pies did last night. Not sure exactly how they’re structuring up from watching on tv, but it’s impressive and we should study it hard.

  6. He’s not the reason we lost, but Jack Viney will be disappointed with himself tonight. 0 clearances. 1 tackle. Is that the first game in his career where he hasn’t had a clearance? He’s usually a frothing maniac when the pressure is on. Tonight was a huge let down when we needed leaders to steady us. Hope he has a huge game next week.

  7. Maynard is gone for two weeks minimum, regardless of intentional or not.

    Head high.

    High impact.

Thats two weeks. If then deemed intentional it will rise to 4.

The only positive to come from tonight is knowing Maynard will miss out on a premiership this year. I hope it haunts him for the rest of his life. Worthless piece of [censored].

  8. Forecast much better than it was a day or two back. It won't be overly wet tonight and won't really be much of a factor now.

We'll win a hard fight tonight. Petracca and Viney to bulldoze this one. Trac to notch up top votes for the Gary Ayres best player of finals award. He is primed and looked ominous last week against the Swans when the whips were cracking.

I don't have much to add - but doing a sportsmans night in some backwater (don't worry I live here) - seems really bizarre... or is it classed as 'fan engagement'?

    "Watchya doing tonight darling"

"I'm going down to the Dunes to enjoy some 'content'." 😆

Does he give advice on which are the best nightclubs bathrooms to get some good gear and a reach around?

  10. Not a small forward as written in the article. 186cm tall, plays taller as a marking type like Melksham and Fritsch. He’s a medium forward with a great leap and a strong mark for his size. Took a ripper against us late in the season. Doesn’t kick bags but consistently hits the scoreboard (averages 1.7 goals a game). He’d basically replace Melksham next year.

Mature age, injuries, wouldn’t command a lot at the trade table. 3rd rounder for proven afl capable level depth would be a decent outcome for us.
