Tough week this week. Cards, Browns, Hawks

So all the NFL fans in here who bet.... where do you go to make complicated bets?... For example, I wanna find out how much they're paying for both Eagles and Cowgirls to go 12-4 or better?

Yeah I agree. There's players you just tune in to watch, much more than AFL. Shady I think is one. Petersen when he's not busy looking for his switch and smoking dope. And to be honest the reason I'm into the NFL is about 50% Eagles (I traded following Eagles and Philles in the NFL and MLB to my mate if he followed the demons and Aussie cricket team)... and 50% Mike Vick. He's still the most fun NFL player I've watched. I actually prefer Rogers to Manning. Manning is the best, but there's something dull about how he plays. Maybe it's cos I can't read what he's doing as well as someone who grew up with Grid Iron. He's more an intellectual fan favourite.

Kap is like the Ablett of the NFL... in that he can't be tackled.

I gotta tell ya. This Davis kid can play.

It's what got me started on this thread. Unlike AFL with it's appalling admin... The NFL has the entertainment aspect down pat. I love the storylines and even have genuine soft spots for other clubs.

GMMM... Good point, however, they USUALLY put on Denver. And as much as they're like the Hawks of the NFL.... a good advertisement for the game... I'm dead set bored of them.

Which makes the rest of the NFC East breathe a big sigh of relief. There's no way they're gonna keep running in 2 TDs a week cos of special teams play.

Oops. Forgot to do my picks for this week before TNF... I'm gonna go the safe options. Patriots, Packers and Broncos.

Davis was all over Foles in that game. Eagles very lucky to be where they are at the moment. The hype is correct in this case. I think if they're gonna get back to steady the ship it basically HAS to be the Pass rushers, Cole, Graham and Curry picking up. I can't see improvement anywhere else.

Aaaand some sanity in the NFL again. Broncos and Patriots against current good opposition manage to roll them handsomely. Saints win, albeit luckily. Chargers humiliate Jets... San Francisco beat Chiefs... All is well in football again. Just looking now at the best records in the NFL. Only Philly, Dallas and Chargers are on 4-1.... And I gotta say the Eagles, while ahead on divisional record in the NFC East, might be the third best side in their own division. What a hopelessly mediocre game. Right now it's only luck and special teams keeping their heads above water... And their schedule: Giants @Cards @Texans Panthers... Yikes. Could easily lose all four on current form. Meanwhile Cowboys have: @Seahawks then all home games....Giants Skins Cards

My picks this week.. Bengals SeaHawks No easy ones, so Steelers.

I started this thread years ago, so I'd like to nominate myself... Change my name to Franchise Dappa. But in reality, probably more appropriate for O.C.

My worry over Dallas has been brewing since half time of their week one match against 49ers. I reckon that defense was playing amazing football, and getting results, causing Murray to fumble and the whole Dallas offense to crumble. Then after half time, Dallas' defense hasn't really been beaten yet this year. Their offense will put up 30 more often than not, and right now are playing far better football, for weeks, than the Eagles who are supposedly favourites. Both teams likely to be 4-1 in a week's time... But come the end of the season when they play off to make playoffs, I feel like injuries aside, Dallas are looking better. Their OL is playing as well as anyone's. Eagles OL will get guys back, but that doesn't mean they'll fix their issues. And these last couple of weeks has shown they just don't have depth.

Just don't know what to make of Eagles. Getting killed by SF Defense. But are up 21-10 with 2 special teams TDs and a pick 6....

Holy crap Kaepernick is slippery. I reckon they don't even care if they let through the odd blitz... they're not gonna catch him anyway.
