I watched the Bears last two weeks, and they didn't even look like they wanted to win. There's something wrong in their locker room. I also reckon Dallas will be angry. And we all know what Dez is like when he's angry. I can't see Dallas losing. Doesn't mean I hope you're wrong though. lol Seahawks will tell everyone a whole lot about both teams. In a season, a teams stats can spike at times. Eagles for example have great defensive games, like against Cowboys and Giants. And the woeful defensive games like against GB. But there are stats that they just don't fail on. Run D is one. They've been more consistent there than in any other stat, pretty much. Now, what's it gonna be like against the best rushing team? Can they slow Lynch down like they did Murray? If they do, will Wilson expose them? If they CAN slow down one, or both, how will the corners do, given Wilson will start pushing how downfield throws? Fascinating. Thanksgiving was just an out and out smash them in the face game. Seahawks though is a playoff preview. Yeah 2 games clear, at this stage of the season, with the Division record basically already in Eagles' hands.... That would be it.

Here's how I see it unfolding, and perhaps how most Eagles people see it unfolding... They needed to beat Cowboys on their own dungheap because, let's say Eagles lose to Seattle and Cowboys on the rematch. And let's say Cowboys smash Bears, which they should, and beat Eagles as already mentioned. Then you'll find Eagles, a game behind but with better division record. Cowboys will have to beat both Indi and Washington. Eagles will likely beat both Giants and Washington... so it really puts them in box seat. Win against either Seattle or Cowboys and Eagles are pretty much in I reckon.

Defense held up well all game, really. Gave up one big play and TD at the start, then a FG after a turnover in second half... Other than that Romo just kept going backwards. Most unusual. No way it'll be that easy in two weeks.

Wowee.... What a game by the Eagles. Romo kept to -0.14... First game in 38 he didn't throw a TD. Eagles won in every phase, in every unit... especially both OL and DL vs their lines.... CBs did a good job. One on ones... Pretty much couldn't ask for more. 2 weeks ago they're in hell in Lambeau... Hellbeau... Now they've announced themselves as a serious team.

Eagles will take him. Even like this still better than Foles and Sanchez. lol In all seriousness, I think he'll stay.

In their defense.... 8 games in a year there? I'd take that... I remember randomly going to a Dolphins Browns game and seeing a bunch of yanks watching the game on their portable TV that was GIVEN to them as part of their membership. Wow. We get a plastic card and a lanyard.

Yeah can't go past those three. Cincy, Cards and Phins.

Yeah. I think the fact Rodgers hasn't thrown a pick at Lambeau since 2012 is a big factor. Eagles rely on their returned TDs and special teams. Also Luck killed us with his hard counts, so that's a big one too. But yes, basically it's gonna be an awesome game. Simple as that. Noone in their right mind would bet on it, you just can't with two quality sides.

It's awesome. And the best slew of games haven't even started yet. A couple of weeks ago Dallas vs Eagles was looking like the big time NFC East finisher. But if Eagles can somehow do the impossible and beat Rodgers at Lambeau, then that would be considered their best win of the regular season and would place them as basically a playoff team, looking at their schedule.

Ok. Gonna go early again this week. Broncos, Steelers and 49ers.

You never know though with Arizona... Going by my VERY scientific ladder predictor the wild card spots in the NFC will be the toughest, with Dallas, Seattle and Detroit fighting it out. Actually in the standings right now, to think that Seattle, Green Bay and Dallas are the big three possibilities.... they're actually the teams I'm more frightened of than ANY in the NFC. Weird eh. It's a high pressure environment. Unlike the AFC/VFL. The Browns making it. Would be fantastic. For the League. Never see the much hater, formerly unstoppable team climb the ladder in the AFL though do we? Foles' time? In my mind I think yes. And Sanchize might not be at Eagles either next year. The only thing left for Foles is to maybe play some time in playoffs. He really just isn't that good. Sooner or later he's gotta go. However my heart tells me they might have a terrible 2015/16 with him on the list. Some of Kelly's picks haven't worked out, and the list is getting super ancient. Most of the starting OL is 30+. Corners will be gone. Only got one Linebacker of note. When he does screw up, they'll get an early pick and parlay that into Kelly's 10 year QB. Be it a trade for Newton/Marriotta or whatever. Did they flex it to there? I was hoping for the 12:30 game like today. Was awesome. Watched the game at my mate's cafe on the big TV, he's a cowboys fan. Wearing my Vick jersey. Special day. Yeah it's freaking massive. Game of the week. Or would be if it wasn't for Brady v Luck. Actually all late games are enormous.

Yeah killed them. Pretty ugly game by Newton. RBs were bad, secondary gave up plays everywhere, couldn't get to Sanchez enough, OL was probably the worst single game I've seen this year with Philly's ok DL and ok LB corps getting 9 sacks. 5 turnovers. No take aways. You basically couldn't find anything to like besides Benjamin who is an absolutely monstrously proportioned bloke. If he was quicker people would be predicting him to be better than Megatron.

We need to start talking about a tie breaker in this tipping comp. lol

So Macca, for scoring... I think I kind of imagined people would pick the playoffs teams (1 point), Final 8 teams (2 points), championship teams (3 points) and superbowl teams (4 or 5 points or something)... But it seems like everyone's just picked playoff teams. So I guess of your 12 teams selected, you get: 4 points for a superbowl team listed in your twelve (shouldn't be too hard). 3 points for a team that makes the Conference final. 2 if they make division games. 1 if they only qualify for playoffs but get bundled out... So basically it'll come down to who correctly picks the wild card teams.

And as for predictions, I managed to find nice little ladder predictor online where you enter game results and let it put the ladder together for you. Most helpful and intriguing: AFC 1st - Colts 13-3. 2nd - Steelers 13-3, 2nd seed despite worse Div record than Broncos. Work THAT one out. 3rd - Broncos 13-3, 3rd seed. 4th - Patriots 12-4. Lowly 4th seed. 5th - Ravens 11-5. They'll steady. 6th - Chargers 10-6. Will be playing KC in last week for playoffs. I was very, very tempted to pick KC here too. Nothing else notable here. Miami and Browns both 9-7, and Buffalo lose the plot and go 7-9... but noone else really gets close. Cinci somehow 4th in Division but with a 8-7-1 record. Ouch. Jax and Oakland both win one game. NFC 1st - Packers 13-3, 1st seed easily. 2nd - Cards 12-4, Somehow. 2nd seed. 3rd - Eagles 11-5, This one's good. After splitting their games with Dallas, the Eagles have their fate in their hands, just have to beat Giants. Eli throws pick in last second to make it 2 years running Eagles make playoffs with a pick in the dying seconds. Jerry Jones has a coronary and dies. The League institutes the "Jerry" rule the following season, and allows 2 more Wild Card teams. 4th - Saints 9-7, In the end they're the only serious team in a dodgy division. 5th - Seattle 11-5, Just make it in. Dallas end lower due to some tie breaking nonsense. 6th - Lions 11-5, I rate them highly. Megatron to return. Chicago end 8-8 and a disappointment. Carolina 7-8-1. Newton traded to Eagles at end of season. The big news though is Dallas ending on 11-5 and missing out. I couldn't pick the results honestly, so I gave them and the Eagles one each of their match ups, and was unkind to Eagles as I went. Broncos defeat Chargers. Broncos break all sorts of playoff records to win. Ravens in an upset over Pats. Colts smash Ravens. Broncos end Steelers season in a close one. Colts advance to Superbowl with Luck league MVP. Eagles play Lions. Home field advantage gets Philly over the line after Sanchez throws 4 TDs, and 4 picks. Eagles OL decided the difference against ferocious Lions D. Seattle smash Saints soundly. Packers only just get over the line after Wilson throws last second pick in low scoring match. Eagles get revenge over Arizona in big Upset. No reasoning here. Just a feeling. Wish may be father of the thought. Packers soundly beat Eagles. Superbowl... A legend is born. Luck achieves league, playoff and superbowl MVP. Does what Peyton took most of his career to do. Rodgers left to rue the day.

Oops forgot to put in my 3 guesses. One less game to work with. Steelers, Broncos Cowboys. Same as everyone else. Can't go past them I spose.
