Probably not everyone's cup of tea but I generally find the trade period interesting and educational. Sometimes by reading between lines ( that is the observance of trades..or sometimes just the offers) you can learn a bit about other teams. Ive had to get my head around this whole contrivance of 'points', another area of learning ( still not there tbh lol ) Also shows the styles of the clubs. The FD must really have to work all year these days to keep tabs on everything. I wonder how often any club gets close to 100% of their Plan A ? Reminds me a bit of theatre sports...or improv acting.
