No The arraignment is only a few months before court recesses. Youd possibly think oct nov and dec have already a full book. Still some get expedited and possibly teh NT's system isnt quite choc a block as say Vics. A very hard call is looming youd think. No one wants to see Liam particularly disadvantaged but there is the wellbeing of the club as well toconsider. As youve suggested before, anyone on the list has to be able to play or he becomes a new form of list clogger. Some may view that as harsh, but its a reality. This doesnt go to how the club supports him, just where he fits in. -
Cloke and Collingwood - to part or not to part?

We have a weak ( by comaprison ) midfield. Do you argue other wise ? You think we have the stock ( cattle ) currently on hand to rectify this? if so, please expand. We DONT have anything liek our A veriosn of a forward line on the park. When its there it has actually been amongst the most efficient group in the comp at conversion. And shall i repeat for the upteenth time , for you seem slow to understand. Often in trade week AT the EOS a lot more potential club swappers come out of the woodwork. Many players keep their powder dry i.e dont go yelling it like others do. You can bet London to a brick the FD have a list of players they are interested in and will approach ( through their managements )..They probably have neglected to inform you, their bad ! -

cudi..thats a somewhat broad and sweeping comment.. Who do you see stepping up...or rather leaping up to A grade ? ( or a good B+) I like Trenners but dounbt hell be the game winning explosive A grader we so desperately require. I ll give kudos to Jonesy ans he has really come along ( credit where it due ) but I also cant see him going much further ( hes pretty good now albeit with some game thinking flaws, hopefully they'll iron out ) We all hang a hat on the not yet existant hook that is Viney.....but A good team has at least a handful of B graders with a couple of Guns to power their midfield. We might have enough for a starting lineup...but where are the rotations ? We need mids..more mids...and a variety of good mids to boot ( npi) Howe may well come into that category but its likely he'll remain a forward for a season or two. We do have a warehouse full of supposedly great kids with lots of potential ....that well, after a few years now really havent accrued to a great deal. Are these they...the ones to be developed ? I suspect weve all been duped into beleiving our stocks are far higher than they have panned out to be. The list is very over rated. A lot of people got it wrong. So even if one or two might possibly come on in a couple of years , what do we do in the mean time with all this super foward structure hanging arond waiting to be supplied ? Thats my concern. Its imbalanced as a blueprint My only concern is not even whether we get Cloke or not..its whether its dont prior to or in disregard to a greater problem, the midfield. Dynamics in footy can vary dramatically according to your fortunes, or riches. A team who is pumping the ball into the 50 with regularity will invariably win. I understand the idea you then have to do something with it and that that is currently lamentable. But wee hardly have our A version of Atttack onthe field either. It just concerns me should the club pay overs and run the risk of overlooking a major gap in its list -

oh dear...thinly disguised sarcasm.Dont actually offer up anything to refute it, just pot shots.. bravo. I dont bother with every thread, but dont let that fact actually dilute your cynicism. HAve you anything to actually add to this discussion or just like sitting in the cheap seats ? -

Hardly...Jurrahs counsel knew it would probably go to trial even before they started. They then only had an 'idea' of the evidence agains them as they would have been provided a brief. What came out in the hearing was even more laughable than the defence suspected. Most witnesses didn tturn up. Why ? is irrelevent, they didnt. The key witness even had to back pedal , other supposedly corroborating witnesses actually muddied the prosecution by offering contradictory evidence.and it still goes to trial, and you dont think theres something going on here ? seriously , youre kidding me. As Old and others summise , It always HAD to go to trial. How can any decision be made before the hearing is actually heard, and yet it probably was. -

Why does anyone think our midfiled woes will be addressed overnight by anyone chosen with early draft picks. Viney has a head start and should be impacting by the middle of the season. Anyone else will need 30-40 games. We need a ready made...that will take money...irrespective of the path they are landed by they will cost, if any good, and whats the point of getting any if they arent. Someone mentioned eggs, lets not put them all in one basket , especially a cloaked one -

"Jurrah arraigned to September 3, when a trial date will be set."On an appointed day the court will instruct a date for the actual trial. i.e on one day they announce the date ( another day ) when it will actually start. kinda like on a particular day the afl announces the fixture -

Sylvia and Beamer whilst idiots in their acfions did not knowibgly enter a war zone. Liam did. However you want to slice and dice it, it was....and still is. By going back , as it was, hes brought all this on himself (albeit with some help ) and dumped the club right in it. Thats ok is it ? -

mate wtf was he doing there ? Any fool could see anything would end badly. He was WARNED not to go. But he did. He fu*#&d up big time. You really want to argue otherwise ? I spent 2 years at the top end of Specer Gulf. I saw plenty. Its all hatfield and mckoy [censored]...just painted differently. SAME rubbish though. I fully understand payback. I fully understand family and i know foolhrdiness when i see it. -

Id only entertain him H_T if the club can secure at least one fair dinkum b+ mid, secured a small forward (rtg) and decent picks draft wise as well as Viney. Do all that as a pririty and if the cashtin allows.... Then Cloke. Not the other way round. We need the horse(s) first. -

quite frankly i feel Liam is bloody lucky. He....no one else.....he has not only put himself at risk, not only personally but career wise. Hes put the club in an unenviable position and caused no end of headaches (sorry). In short hes been a bloody idiot. I think the club has been stellar and resolute. He should be very thankful. That said i wish him luck. God knows where the truth is in all this.
