We're getting a lot more love from the fans than Robbo.
As part of the same article, the HS readers have Oliver at 1, Gawn at 3, Trac at 7, May at 17, and Gus at 20.
Five In top 20 ❤️💙

Not sure who of the remaining - McVee, Howes, Laurie, Turner, Woey, Schache, JVR come in if VINEY or FRITSCH aren’t ready.
BTW - where’s Melkshem?- 1

Scratch most Hawthorn Baby boomers and you will find an ex-saint or ex-demon. They all got on in the 1970's.
Ex Hawker here.

Aren’t your bottom six needed to win the flag?
Four Premiership players on the bench and a top 10 draftee.
Melksham and Tomlinson not in.
Nor Bowey and Jordan. Guess Bowey for Salem.
Handy bottom nine.- 1

Best 3 wins I’ve ever SEEN
1987 - PF beat Carlton, stopped B2B
1994 - Final beat Carlton, Ox masterclass
2000 - Final beat Carlton, Yze, Green, CB
All three were unexpected so I would say significant

Shocking scenes at the Victory v City game tonight…there’s a way to protest and that wasn’t it. Hope they catch those mugs that assaulted players and throw the book at them.

Could write.

We once had a mate called dogga
Who turned out to be a list clogger
We wished him the best
Shipped him off west
And hoped his replacement wasn't such a flogger
Still a Premiership hero for mine. Won’t ever forget the 45 mins of joy he brought after 57 year winter.
Homesick, still a kid - we did same with Jeff White.
Hoping the return game is not like Jeff Farmer’s- 2

Fritta's role is to kick goals. I believe that his eyes and mind are always on a goal kicking opportunity.
That he once ignored Tracc in a better position is not a failure. He was just doing his job.
It falls to his team mates to support him in this role by shepherding, leading oppos away, loud voices etc.
Six goals in a premiership buys a lot of indulgence..
THAT goal in Perth.
I’ve never wanted a goal so much in 57 years- 5

Buddy? Really?
One kick in the finals (Petracca), fizzer in big games, entitlement re contract, serial match review presenter - frequently to Swans’ detriment and other issues.
Now if we’re voting for WAGs…- 1

Parkin said Premiership sides need to change by 5 for the next season.
As much as we love our September heroes, we did seem to be trying to re-field our flag team each week.
Pretty much our best team.
Based on age - Hibberd, TMac and BB would be out. Unfair, I know but ol Father Time has first call.
Who replaces those three? JVR would be one I imagine. Two more
Grundy for Jackson is easy.
Who comes in, who goes out as fifth?
X Factor?

According to draftguru afl our provisional picks for 2023 based on 2022 finish are:
13,14,32,33 and 88.
Obviously will not fall that way but an indication of a good 2023 hand.
We will likely lose a player or 2 not getting a regular game who want out so we may pick up enough points to get Kynan Brown without dipping into our starting hand.
We also have scope to improve our hand by trading a combination of picks. Its possible we may trade pick(s) for a player.
If you have not looked at draftguru take a peek - it has some interesting pick/game etc stats.
Four of the top 30 next year in a “strong draft”
Work on trying to improve that

I’m expecting that they’ll skip the fireworks, at least, when the players run out.
i think it would be fitting to play God Save the King in addition to Advance Australia Fair. (Embarrassed that I had to recall if it’s Fare or Fair)
Yeah with some nice stirring b/w footage of Ark Royal, few Harriers and changing guards at the Palace

That’s Premiership team but for Hunt/Bowey which would’ve been for injury.

I’m Full MCC member back from OS for Swans’ Final.
Haven’t been to MCC since loss to GWS in 2021.
I checked MCC website. There is no mention of MCC members having to prebook Ticketmaster/ticketek. This was covid practice before lockdown.
I am happy to sit high up in Members’ nosebleed section.
No need to prebook online?I can still walk up pregame like it’s 2019?
thanks
