  1. Honestly well done Dees. That was almost the perfect performance. We are really starting to look like we belong and have the professional consistent 100% effort mixed with the execution to die for! That was the best performance in terms of ball movement by anyone this year. Votes will be impossible to choose once again but I think there’s a guy in a helmet who needs a big mention, worked his butt off on the outside and was incredibly efficient. Jesse put on a clinic in front of goal (seriously how confident is he looking now in set shots!). Jones is just Jones as always, Clarry an extracting machine. Seriously could go on all night this was the ultimate team performance.
  2. What’s that Tex? You don’t like players bailing on success?
  3. Let’s just keep trying
  4. We turned a corner in the Gold Coast game. We’ve developed the ruthlessness to bury teams. They are hungry
  5. Stunning stuff Demons! Expected the Crows to come in that quarter but we nullified them. Keep it up
  6. Lever is a man possessed!
  7. Also, big fan of Balls. He made a lot of our guys walk taller.
  8. I’ve got lots of respect for Plough and respect his opinion here. What I have to say is that I’ve been pretty surprised at how much talk there has been this week about Lever playing against his old side and ex teammates getting into him. Players change clubs, it happens. The only thing that this suggests is that it was a terribly bitter split and all the crap he had to go through from people like Tex has added to the bitterness.
  9. With this win and a bloopy for Collingwood next week against Freo they’ll be 7-4 by QBH. Pretty nervy already bout that one. The dogs are just nothing on the team that won it in 2016. And honestly they wearn’t elite back then either, they had a great month.
  10. What a balls up of a stadium name at first glance. I like Marvel but geez. I guess it will be good for the kids.
  11. Proud to say I’m now a DL subscriber! Well done guys with all the work you do to keep this machine ticking along, keep it up!
  12. Was really sad to hear about the concussion issues. I knew he had a few but that was insane. Makes you put things in perspective and see where they are coming from with eliminating the front on and sling tackle stuff from the game.
  13. Not a decision I’d be making after Round 9 of the season. Yes he’s been playing some good footy but I’d rather decide end of season.
  14. 6 - Melksham 5 - T-Mac 4 - Jones 3 - Lever 2 - ANB 1 - Gawn
  15. What a delight! Such a joy to watch. The dam wall burst last week and now I think we see a side that wants to get the most out of every game. Milkshake was brilliant, T-Mac clinical, ANB has the radar back. Super impressed with Lever, every time he gets a fist on it he removes the danger. Brayshaw playing with more confidence. An amazing team effort, these guys are all playing for each other right now. Got a big boy team next week, hopefully we take this momentum into it.
  16. I can’t watch this right now. I’m just gonna record it on IQ and fast forward to all the Melbourne bits later
  17. Was never even close to seeing the great man play but even I would say 31 is such an iconic number. 2 has had the most champions. Maybe not the most iconic but no. 5 is the most special MFC number to me. It was the first I ever wore on my back (for The Ox) and I’m happy to say I still wear this on my back now for Trac!
  18. It would be easy to say the guy couldn’t coach his way out of a paper bag (which there is a good case for) but I’m sure he must have done something right to be a competent assistant at Collingwood in that period. A lot of people here are still reeling a bit from the way the guy sent us back to the Stone Age and I understand that. Just have to give the tiniest little bit of credit where it’s due.
  19. I remember having to sing this song for music class in primary school. Was pretty catchy.
  20. I would say Tyson for Viney but Vince could be rested. I’d love to see Garlett back for Carlton but there’s no chance in hell of that happening
  21. Look he may not have been super effective as he can be but he surely took a big step in the right direction! 27 disposals, ran hard all game and kicked 2 in my opinion crucial goals when it looked like no-one could hit a cows a*se with a banjo. Good stuff Christian! Keep it up.
  22. 6 - T. McDonald 5 - Harmes 4 - Oliver 3 - Gawn 2 - Fritsch 1 - Lewis
  23. Very happy. Beat them in every facet of the game. Wasteful with the inside 50s early but that last quarter did a lot to atone for that. Took a good step.
  24. Well true if you’re answering them with 3!
