Former CEO Peter Jackson on SEN (4/10)
Words canāt express it anymore. He will be very hard to replace and we are just going to have to wait and see how Pert goes. To be fair it was always going to be big shoes to fill for anyone but still. Weāll miss him, the ultimate professional.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Listening to him today. āAt the moment Iām contracted to Melbourneā you have to say he is gone. Donāt know when the sound bite was taken but wouldnāt be surprised if it was after he left the Freo facilities. People say he is a Melbourne person and loves the club. I donāt know, but itās pretty obvious he has an itch he wants to scratch.

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
Oh you know, might be a quirking idea to keep someone weāve put a lot of time into developing as a one on one defender as a rookie and like, hmmm avoid MORE list turnover. Just a thought though, donāt let it get in the way of the spring clean out attitude.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Absolutely. A deadline to make their best possible offer and then that's it. Worst case he stays and then we can accept whatever scrud they offer next year. Actually no, worst case is we lose him for nothing, but let's just pretend for now!

2018 Player Reviews: # 36 Jeff Garlett
A bad year for Jeff. I hope it wasnāt some serious personal issues that affected him. I think we keep him another year and fingers crossed he can recapture that great form we know.

Pull the trigger? ... 2018 Edition
Geelong viewpoint - Would you trade Tim Kelly and Pick 11 for Pick 7 and Pick 15? Yes. Cash in. Carlton or Adelaide viewpoint - Would you trade Pick 1 for Pick 4 and McGovern? Yes but only just. Get more value. Port Adelaide viewpoint - Would you trade Pick 9 and Pick 10 for Pick 5 and Fremantleās 2019 2nd rounder? No. Without being Portās list manager I would say they should hold these. Melbourne viewpoint - Would you trade Hogan for May and Pick 10? If thatās the absolute best on offer then yes. GWS viewpoint - Would you trade Lobb for Pick 11? Iām gonna say yes, Lobb is more suited as a forward and the Giants could use a quality hit out guy. Maybe trade it for Pruess and another pick. GWS or Carlton viewpoint - Would you trade Pick 4 and 2019 1st rounder for Shiel? GWS - Yes Carlton - no Gold Coast viewpoint - Would you accept Pick 9 for May? No, without May GC becomes a CrĆØche. Would much prefer a 1st rounder and an experienced player that can improve us right now.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Ah yes, the stats. It's fairly easy to rack that number up when most of your kicks are inside the back 50 and 20 metres in length.

Worry about he concussions but the upside is huge. Would be happy to part with a 3rd rounder.

KK probably. I wouldnāt call May a piercing kick though.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Yeah probably true, more a want than a need. Also if we lose Hogan there goes another great field kick. He is a very good quality interceptor May.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Yeah because life is so cut and dry like that isnāt it?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Not sure, trying to get pumped about it. If he was a brilliant Dustin Fletcher type kick then it would be a no brainer but I donāt see anything special about his kicking from what Iāve seen. I donāt watch Gold Coast every week though.
