The golden crumb award

Farewell Dean. You came to the club at a dark time and while I would have loved you to be part of this it doesn’t always work out. Hopefully you can get into tip top condition and give it a real go with the Saints.
-
I must he completely missing the point of some of these. No more kicking to yourself after a kick in? Talk about fixing something that wasn’t broken.
-
Ouch, ouch, ouch. Better be some good packaging going on otherwise I expect the Hogan deal to fizzle.
-
Really is so important. The backline structure just falls in a heap when he’s not there, hopefully an injury free 19.
-
Thank goodness for that. Couldn’t believe it was even considered.

Not a huge fan. Was happy with the current number of Thurs games but more than that is a bit silly.

Zigmund, look at the sky. The planet is on fire!

Amazing news! Don't know about you all but I'm a bit emotional about this one. Speaks volumes of his character, he deserves the very best in life. -
Maybe we should start a Lachie Neale to Brisbane thread so we can endlessly hypothesize and anticipate that and then come back to this when the trade is done? But then again I'm sure some people would rather cut their toe nails with a machete than lose the rapid pace that this thread is going at..

That's a good question. It would be easy to say it wouldn't and that all recruiting managers would prepare for any scenario by studying the whole talent pool but that's probably a bit simplistic. There's only so much time and so much traveling you can do. Then again maybe he did, but it still changes the psychology a bit.
-
Yeah that's it. I mean that's without knowing too much about next year's draft class of course but it seems the sensible option. Would much rather a very good talent that fits what we need than the absolute best talent on the board.
-
Real tough one. Would go pick 6 in a superdraft but only just and only because you get it right now.

Big, big season for Mitch in 2019. Can he forge a solid AFL career or just become one of the many cameos?
-
Still unsigned! And yes, heard on SEN last night he toured the Sydney facilities.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
layzie replied to Tinks's topic in Melbourne Demons
People are using our culture as a good reason to get him in. I would use it as a good reason to keep him out. -
No chance this gets to 400. There would have to be someone posting every few minutes :p

Really struggled to watch many games at all this week it's been a rough week due to some other circumstances. Watched the highlights of Eagles @ Rams. Interesting game. Still hard to get a read on the Vikings though their offense can go through sluggish phases but it was still a great win. As for the Niners it's fairly simple, playing hard and with heart but missing key personnel, the line is weak and we turn the ball over at crucial times. Beathard has already had two fumbles from his throwing motion. At least the Cowboys lost!

Had a massive soft spot for Kent. A real dynamic player with his pace and accuracy in front of goal, especially his set shots. We were crying out to see him out there more. Especially early in the Roos tenure when he looked like a shining light for the future. Whenever he was on the brink of continuity he'd have an injury setback. Hammies were suspect. Gave us the swansong of a lifetime though, I know I'll never forget it.

Absolutely wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

Nope, go home. Seriously, what name is going to to appear next on the cheese board? -
I think the exact same thing but so many players do it for some reason.
-
My money would be on this scenario.

A lot of people are using proposed rule changes as the basis of their arguments on here. Just keep in mind these are still proposed at this stage.
