MFC Debt Free in 2021
Does this mean we have to give Pert some credit now?

An anomaly of the Rules
It would never happen, no matter how good an idea it is.

CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Bulldogs
Just glad Preuss was able to get up. Didn't want to have to deal with that headache.

Neville Jetta | Talking Points
You gotta love these stories, by all accounts he does more than even some of the most generous when it comes to his time. I hope to see a few more like Nev that wear our jumper with a purpose.

Websites Worse than the AFL's
Yeah I'm with you, not a fan at all. With the fixture being updated all the time now I made the choice to rely on the AFL site instead of just typing in Google as it may not have had the absolute latest info. Well even that simple command was like pulling teeth, pull up the fixture and expect to have to scroll down for eternity because the proportions are too darn big! Then you got the video and media section, the part that they constantly ram down your throat when you don't even want it. Well try going on there to find a video you'd heard about and want to see, enough said. Slightly more minimal sites are the way to go these days, no need to make the menu bar 3 times bigger than it needs to be.

Tom Lynch Incident (incl. Dimma vs The Ox)
I've also respected Hardwick in his time at the Tigers. I also try hard not to let past experiences cloud judgements on players and coaches character. But bringing up something from 20 years ago? The ONE part of that triumphant game and season from the Bombers that they should be trying their hardest to suppress and forget? Not on. The guy is clearly just defending his player, sure he's sacrificing his own reputation but that's his choice.

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
Would definitely buy the T-shirt!

The 2020 Trade Period
The Higgins idea got floated around here either last year or the year before. I don't hate the idea but just can't see it being worthwhile.

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
Still gotta play our part though, no matter what.

Injury List 2020
Makes you wonder what kind of training they were doing to ping the hammy that bad.

Josh Wagner back into the side
A list depth player and that's about it. Can do a job for you but would only expect to see him if we get hit with injuries.

Adams and Buckley praise AVB
There's no doubt Aaron has seen and lived through more than most people his age. A true bloke.

The 2020 Trade Period
I'm along these lines of thinking. Along with Geelong there might be a few other clubs interested so we should get something decent in return.

The 2020 Trade Period
Some real watered down stuff there..

Tom Lynch Incident (incl. Dimma vs The Ox)
The AFL condones punching and gut punching. They can say all they like but this is the truth, it's all well and good to stamp out little shoves and bad sportsmanship but when it comes to punches they are 'soft as butter'.

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
Actually did not see that news about the delayed start until now so that does change a few things yeah. I'd say at this stage everything is on the table. Maybe even more games with shorter quarters, who knows..

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
Some of the ideas lately around this are ridiculous. I heard Andy Maher and Bob Murphy discussing having the frenzy again next year because you 'really only need 10,000 people to make it a great atmosphere'. Might be true but gee makes the building big stadiums idea a solid fiscal investment doesn't it?

The 2020 Trade Period
There's really no way to do any business in this trade period other than shopping around one of the value players. I know the instinct is to hang on to everyone and keep a list together but this isn't a case of packaging up Matty Warnock, Tom Bugg and Ben Kennedy for a 1st rounder. Make the bold calls or be happy with what we have.

Life without Gawn?
I think this game was more a case of serving up some unpredictability. The chances are opposition would work us out after a few games of it. Yeah we might have to mix up the way we go about centre bounces but you'd be crazy to give up a hit out specialist like Max, just find a way to use it better.

Grundy has had like 2 decent games since the restart?
